Today is the start of the challenge !!
The ribs are good enough, not perfect but almost feels like it’ll drive me forward some more to understand the pain these women feel...
so please if you can give a little, it’s a cause that speaks to me. I totally understand if you can’t .... no money coming in like me! But if you can and your still working and can’t spend your money 💰 give a little to a fantastic cause and I will be walking & cycling my way through it everyday till the end of February.
Thank you 🙏

Our emphasis is always centred on women supporting women. In all aspects of the work we, the team, do within FAMARA we have this mantra at the forefront of our minds.
We work alongside some incredible instructors, and when one of them approached us to ask if we'd help promote a Fitness Challenge to raise money for Womens Aid Charity, we all leapt at the chance.
Women’s Aid is the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. All of us feel passionately about raising money for this charity, particularly due to the increase of domestic abuse during the restrictions in 2020/21.
On February 1st 2021, 15 of our extended Famara team are taking part in a virtual challenge to cross 2336 miles from Frome, (in the UK) to Famara Beach (in Lanzarote). We will be peddling, swimming, running, walking, rowing, anything that takes us closer to our goal.
We aim to raise £2,336 for Womens Aid and if we can raise more we will be delighted. As such we've set up a Go Fund Me page because ALL the money goes to the charity, (nothing is spent on admin or fees), and we want every penny to count.
We plan to make this a motivating experience for all involved and we'd really appreciate any support, particularly if you relate to the cause at the heart of this challenge.
With many thanks to Diana for the idea.
