There is something very special about tasting chocolate through the stories of the people who make it.
This weekend, I’ll be in Bordeaux for , the festival organized by the European Bean to Bar Association, and I’ll have the pleasure of guiding a tasting dedicated to the Spanish bean to bar panorama.
On Saturday 2 May at 2:30pm, we’ll begin a journey through Spain’s craft chocolate landscape: a movement shaped by a deep culinary heritage, a strong culture of craftsmanship and close relationships with cacao producers around the world. 🌍
Through several chocolates from different Spanish makers, we’ll explore how each project interprets cacao flavours in its own way — creating bean to bar chocolates rooted in collaboration, transparency and Mediterranean creativity. 🤝
The tasting, “Journey Through the Spanish Bean to Bar Scene,” will be held in English and guided by Marc Torrano . It will be presented in collaboration with , proud members of .
