2025 was unforgettable - challenging, necessary and transformative.

A year of courage, boundaries and expansion.

Today I quietly celebrate one full year of sobriety inspired by the lovely .

I feel physically and mentally stronger than ever, I am so proud of myself and amazed at how easy it was once I got started.

My mission this year was also self-love. I invested in myself and discovered what truly makes my heart sing and how to nurture myself along the way.

I am stepping into 2026 clearer, steadier and deeply thankful for the woman I’m becoming.

Live, Love, Laugh and Dance like no one is watching!

Wow this has been the most tastiest Christmas lunch I have ever had! Everything was truly delicious and to top it off, I was given a stocking by Santa!

I think what made lunch so magical and taste so good was that everyone was involved. We all had different jobs to do and it came together brilliantly!

I am grateful to my sister Nic, hubby John, niece Emma and nephew Tom for making today memorable, fun and so magic!

Feeling blessed… to absent family and friends, you were missed of course but never far from our thoughts.

Now back to my jigsaw puzzle! 🧩

One of my favourite days of the year is the annual get together to make our festival wreaths, this year was equally blissful.

Mother Nature provided the materials and we got creative and made the most stunning wreaths!

It definitely kick starts the festive season, then the tree goes up, the decorations come out and the tunes start to play.

Living with little Ms Christmas, Izzy is all over it and no morning is complete without a festive sing along! It is, however, now being blended with some heavy metal which adds a different dimension! 🎸⚡️🎄⚡️🎸

Part 2 of making a herb concoction for my bird food.

Simply dry your herbs, in this case Oregano, Rosemary and Sage, strip from stalks, mix well and add to their feed. I tablespoon of herbs to 1 kilo of feed or thereabouts!

Happy, healthy animals care of Mother Nature with a bit of love and time from me!

This morning’s little ritual…

Gathering sage, oregano and rosemary, drying them low and slow, and turning them into a fragrant herbal blend for my chickens, ducks and geese.

It’s such a simple thing but these herbs are powerful allies for the flock.

🌿 Sage
• Supports clear breathing
• Naturally antimicrobial
• Eases stress and keeps immunity strong
• A great help during moulting or cold snaps

🌿 Oregano
• A natural antibiotic (one of the strongest)
• Brilliant for gut health + digestion
• Helps protect against coccidiosis
• Boosts overall vitality and egg quality

🌿 Rosemary
• Anti-inflammatory and antioxidant-rich
• Supports circulation and respiratory health
• Especially good for ducks and geese
• Helps keep the whole flock calmer and steadier

How I make it:
Harvest → Dehydrate for 10 hrs at temp 40-50 → Crumble → Mix into feed (1 tbsp per kg).

It smells incredible, the birds love it, and it’s one of those tiny everyday practices that quietly keeps everyone healthier, stronger and more resilient.
