Anxiety has a way of pulling us out of the present moment. It sends us spiraling into the past or projecting into the future, worrying about things that haven’t even happened yet.

It disconnects us from the here and now, where life is actually unfolding. 🤗

When we’re caught in anxiety, we’re often stuck in our heads—lost in “what-ifs” and “should-haves.” The present moment, with all its richness and grounding, feels distant or even invisible.

But here’s the truth: the present moment is always available to us.
It’s a safe anchor in the storm of anxious thoughts.

To bring ourselves back, we can start small:
✨ Pause and take a slow, deep breath. Feel the air as it enters and leaves your body.
✨ Notice what’s around you. The colors, shapes, sounds, and textures of this very moment.
✨ Ask yourself: What is true right now? Not what your mind is projecting, but what’s real, here in this moment.

When anxiety rises, it often feels overwhelming, like it’s something we have to fight or fix.
These slides walk you through a practice of what I do for shifting how I respond to anxiety, and I’m hoping it would help you too.

It’s not about ignoring anxiety or pretending it isn’t there—it’s about meeting it differently

About realising that you have a choice.

And with that choice comes freedom.
Freedom to let anxiety rise and fall, to let it pass through without letting it define you or take over your life.

With each small shift, you begin to reclaim your power, your peace, your choice.
