I know what you're thinking.
"I can't afford it."
"I'm not fit enough."
"It's too indulgent."
"I'm not a yoga person."
I want to gently push back on all of that.
You don't need to be a yoga person. You just need to be a tired person who's ready for something to change.
And yes, €865 is money. But so is the burnout you're managing. The physio appointments for your neck and shoulders. The things you're buying to try to feel better that don't actually work. The nights you can't sleep. The weekends that don't restore you.

People always ask why I became a yoga teacher.
The honest answer isn't what they expect.
I didn't find yoga because I was flexible or spiritual. I found it because I was burnt out. A little bit damaged. Running on empty and didn't know how to stop.
Yoga gave me permission to rest. It taught my body that it was safe to let go. It showed me I didn't have to earn my worth by constantly doing more.
And now I teach because I want to give that to other people.
That's why I'm hosting a small group to Spain in May. To give them what yoga gave me; space, rest, and permission to just be.
If you've felt called to do something like this but keep talking yourself out of it, I want you to know that's normal. That hesitation is exactly why you need it.

I've been hinting at this for weeks. Here it is.
I'm hosting a small yoga retreat in southern Spain this May and I want to tell you exactly who it's for.
It's for the ones who've been running on empty. The people who carry tension in their neck, shoulders, jaw. Who haven't had a proper break in years. Who are tired in a way that sleep doesn't fix.
It's for you if you're based in the UK or Ireland, and you need more than a weekend off.
May 29th to 31st, 2026. Southern Spain. Just 10 to 15 people, intentionally small.

Everyone tells you to "just rest." Nobody tells you why you can't.
Here's what's actually happening: your nervous system is stuck in overdrive. Your body doesn't know the meeting is over. It's still braced.
Yoga and breathwork aren't just stretching, they're how you signal to your body that it's safe to come down. That the threat is over. That you're allowed to rest.

Your shoulders are up by your ears. Your jaw is clenched. You probably didn't even notice.
I see this in every single person I teach. The held breath. The tight shoulders. The clenched jaw you don't realise you've been holding all day.
Your body keeps score. And sometimes all it needs is permission to let go.
You don't need an hour on a mat. You need 2 minutes and a reminder that you're allowed to release.

Hey there! I´m Clair, a.k.a @realyogabear and I want to help you on your yoga journey. I did my RYT200 (registered yoga training) in India in 2016 and I´ve been teaching here in Huelva since 2017. In 2018 I also completed a KAY (kidding around yoga) in-person training course with the founder Haris Lender. This new style of yoga is focused on teaching yoga and meditation to kids and it´s so much fun.
So let´s get you and your family started! Don´t be put off by all the yoga photos you see on social media, inflexible people can do yoga too. Because that´s what it´s all about: a personal journey. You don´t start flexible, strong and focused, you BECOME flexible, strong and focused. In body and mind. So why don´t you give it a try?
Start by making simple, easy choices. I like to focus on what feels good, don´t you? So come along and give my classes a try and if it feels good, well then it´s an easy choice to come back for more, right? I totally get that it´s really hard trying to make time. I know. We all know. Some weeks I practise yoga every day, and others I barely have time for one practice. But each day, try make one decision that will improve your health and happiness. Eat a salad or fruit, go outside and sit for 10 minutes and look up at the sky and enjoy the breeze on your face, lay yourself in bed and listen to your favourite song. Live your life the best YOU can. In the end, that’s all any of us can do.
For those of you not in the Huelva area, I have recently started a youtube channel. At the moment, there are monthly asana challenges (which also work as instructional videos for each asana) but I will be adding some short 15-20 minutes yoga sequences for you to follow at home.
