Nadine’s flows are unique & improvised and you will find yourself rolling down your mat and stepping into an embodied practice infused with quality, integrity and dedication alongside laughter, smiles, sweat & tears. As we come together and create a safe space to move, breathe, explore & let go with the sound of sweet music we cultivate devotion in motion. Nadine is passionate and determined to provide various movement styles and meditative techniques accessible to all, offering up a practice that encourages students to apply their experience both on and off the mat. Founded by Nadine Marie, who remains the studio’s resident teacher, read on to learn more about her story, her mission and ethos.
Nadine studied Ballet from an early age and dance very quickly became her passion. She chose to pursue dance as a profession and aged 18 she was awarded a scholarship to attend The Northern Ballet School, gaining National Diploma in Professional Dance.It was during this training that Nadine was introduced to Yoga as a form of cross training, and very quickly recognised the benefits a regular yoga practice provided. Quickly becoming a devoted practitioner, Nadine studied yoga at Ashtanga Yoga Paris and continued taught and self practice yoga throughout her professional career as a Blue Bell at the world renowned Cabaret Lido de Paris. After retiring from the stage Nadine realised her true calling-yoga-and as she delved deeper into philosophy & scripture she continued to attend yoga workshops and advanced training courses with leading yoga teachers and practitioners around the world. After founding the studio House of Yoga Jávea Nadine realised the potential in offering ONE DAY RETREATS & YOGA EXPERIENCES for those ready to dip their toe into yoga and mindfulness alongside needing to escape the busyness of everyday life. For many, with partners, families & professional commitments-the opportunity to travel for retreat weeks are few and far between, therefore Nadine is delighted to bring to Jávea and the surrounding areas ONE DAY RETREAT JAVEA. With the opportunity to combine all she loves most in this world- YOGA, MUSIC & GOOD FOOD, each day is designed around a specific theme, including guest artists, live music and delicious plant based food! When Nadine’s not teaching in the studio she’s most likely guiding yogis through yoga flows at some of Javea’s most breathtaking sea view locations. Javea is totally surrounded by natural beauty, with it’s perfect combination of countryside & beach we’re forever finding new outdoor locations to roll down our mats and connect the elements.
