The Four Gates does not solicit for testimonials but we sometimes get feedback from students and are pleased to hear about their next steps after working with us and with teacher plants. "I just finished Cactus of Mystery. When I reached the part about your visit with God, I swear that my soul exploded with joy. Throughout the entire book, I have had Epiphany after joyous Epiphany, but with that section about your visit with God, I laughed and laughed and could not stop. I danced around my house and skipped and screamed "I'm FREE" over and over. Luckily nobody was home but the dog who kind of looked at me wryly as if to say..."you are JUST discovering this"? which only made me laugh again.
"All the pain, the sadness, the inexplicable illness and suffering literally jumped out of me and went back to the light. I had no use for it any longer. I was a little sad since honestly it has been my only friend for years now (sounds sad, but not meant to be). It would be hard to believe that my pain is gone just like that, but it is. And I have not even ingested San Pedro YET!! But it felt like it healed me anyway. My knee, ripped only 1 year ago--is healed although the Dr. told me not to expect this for 18 months. I was limping before I read the God chapter. I do not have celiac disease, or fibromyalgia anymore. That is in the past now. I can eat of all of the earth's foods. Those diseases are what doctors in america gave me as my excuse for illness. I can reject them, I can CHOOSE what happens to my body. I Choose Joy.
"Before reading this book, it has been suggested to me before--that it is "all in my head", but my scientific mind would not allow that to be true, and of course western medicine offers nothing other than that, making it sound as if you want to be sick, which I also reject… God is inside me and She always has been--connecting to me through the ecology all around me (I'm an ecologist in this world).
"Ross, thank you for writing the books (so far I've read Plant Shamanism, Vine of Souls and Cactus of Mystery). I did not really expect to find God in them or find myself either and I especially did not expect to heal myself. There is much work to be done still and I look forward to my Three Great Teachers ceremonies in Spain. "I met Ross attending a Spirit Plant workshop in Spain where, after many years, benefited from extensive teaching and his broad experience with Spirit Plants. The teaching joined many dots for me. In particular resonating with Ross’ explanation of Spirit plants activating and healing your DNA. Having personally experienced that will cite a couple of examples in ancestor work.
"Ancestors have gifts and attributes with which to bless us, though may need resolution first. We carry their DNA in us and by releasing their pain it heals the scarlet thread in us and our descendants. I was taken to an event in the past where Knights Templar ancestors were fighting courageously. My guide took me into the situation with the power to redeem it because I’m mortal. Bridging spirit and flesh, could act effectively in that dimension. Shown what to do, a curse was broken and positive changes have occurred in my life and those of my family since. Another time I was guided to do soul retrieval for my dead grandfather which had a profound effect on my mother and one of my daughters who is very like her.
