Feeling very grateful to be able to enjoy a lovely ride in the country up to Istan. There is always something different to see, no matter how many years I have been going up and down. Whether it’s people, the trees and foliage, the weather, the road surface, the animals, or simply how I feel when I am cycling up or down.

It’s amazing what you see and feel when you are totally present in the moment

Whatever state I start in is always different to how I finish- which is with a sense of achievement and gratitude. Which sets me up for the day.

What are you doing to change your state from being unhealthy to being healthy in mind and body.

It all starts with small steps, each achievement or accomplishment adds up, mentally and physically. You owe it to yourself to look after your mind and body to live a long and healthy life.

Your thoughts and actions will determine the outcome of your life.

Start thinking of how you want 2026 to be-
The same results as 2025 or start the new year 2026 with a new sense of alignment and drive.
2025 is in numerology a 9 year- time to bring things to a close
2026 is in numerology a 1 year- Time to start new things, change what wasn’t working in 2025 for new ideas and outcomes.

BREAKING THE MOLD
So as i was having my morning coffee, before my first client, a thought popped into my head on that how much we are like the cup i was drinking from.

HOW DO I MEAN
The cup i was holding came out of a mold, very much as we came out of a genetic mold of our parents.

DIFFERENCES
Unlike the cup, we have the ability to change. Once the cup is molded then fired with heat, it cannot change. Whereas we have the ability to change ourselves with our thoughts and actions

BREAKING THE MOLD
When you repeatedly use the same mold for a long time, the cup coming out starts to have imperfections- pitting, not coming out whole or the mold starts to break. It is then time to manufacture a new mold so you can have a nice new cup.
Our minds are the same, if you continue to have the same unconscious negative thoughts around- anxiety, anger, depression, or not being enough in some capacity.

The proteins in your body start to malfunction, as the body cannot cope with the continuous negativity, the quality of these proteins becomes inferior. Hence what some people look older and become frail quicker.
Because of this continual stress, this in turn also triggers genetic buttons resulting in the stimulation of certain diseases.

CHANGING THE MOLD
In order to live a healthy and life you can change you own internal thoughts and behaviours, which in turn affects how the body responds and how healthy you are.

So you have to ask yourself, do i want to stay as the unchangeable cup or become the best versión of myself to live a healthy life.

One of the was you can use to change these thought patterns is with hypnotherapy. This allows you to change the mold of the underlying thoughts and emotions that created the old mold and manufacture a new mold, with new thoughts and behaviours.

THE CYCLES OF LIFE
As I was cycling up to Istan on this sunny morning, I got to thinking how everything in life is made up of cycles. Summer to autumn then winter and then spring, before the cycle of life starts over again. The endless cycle of day/night.

We have our own cycles that keep us trapped where we are.

Have you ever wondered how you seem to attract the same situations in your life, or the same people or partners that test your patience, or how you keep making the same mistakes or acting the same way. We keep having the same thoughts over and over again.

You can change countries, jobs, partners etc …. Only the same thoughts will circle back to put you back to where you were.

You are on the endless cycle that relates to your beliefs that you have regarding events that happened in the past and the emotions you attach to them.

You can re-cycle those beliefs about the thoughts and the feelings you had relating to events of the past and change the outcomes. Or would you rather spend the rest of your life cycling in the same direction when there are so many options in life.

We all remember the film Groundhog Day. Some poeple are happy to live that way or would would your rather have the life of freedom of choice and break the cycle to realise your potential.

You have the chance to re-cycle those old beliefs into new ones.

WHEN THE WHEEL OF LIFE STOPS ROLLING

Some people may not be aware of the Wheel of Life, most of us compartmentalise our live into different segments so that it looks like a bicycle wheel with its spokes. Those segments will be split into various areas such as - health, business, relationships etc… There maybe 8-10 segments

WHEN IT STARTS TO GO WRONG
So what happens when on segment is not functioning as well as it should- well you end up with a bit tougher ride. In the case of a cycle wheel if one on the spokes breaks you may be lucky the the wheel runs out of line and is touching on the brake pads making your ride slower and tougher though still able to function.
Likewise the impact on your wheel of life may not be too noticeable if one areas is not going as well as it should, and things may be a bit bumpy

COMPLETE HALT
If two spokes on my wheel break, then I have a major problem. In most cases the wheel buckles and I come to a grinding halt. Which has happened, gratefully I was going uphill, though still unnerving, better than happening going downhill.

Your wheel of life can be the same, if you have a major problem- eg health- this can impact on all areas of your life such as business, relationships, family etc…

Below I have an empty photo of the Wheel of Life. Feel free to copy it and fill in the areas of your life, then go from zero to 10- zero being the worst and 10 being the best- be very honest with yourself to see in area you require attention.

CYCLING AND YOUR GOALS

Many of us have achieved goals in our lives and many of us have not achieved goals in our lives.

GOALS can likened to cycling up to my favourite village. It is a short term goal that contributes to a long term goal of optimum health. The ride is fairly short ( short term goal to reach Istán ) and the same time looks after my heart( long term goal)

When starting your goals, initially getting going can be tough a bit like the first part of my ride which is two very short climbs of about 14%

Once over the 2 climbs things become relatively easier though I am still working and climbing and your goals are the same.

Then all of a sudden your on a roll things become easier, a bit like going downhill at speed

Before your thoughts throw you a curveball and things get tough, a bit like getting to the bottom of a downhill stretch, going around a bend to find another short climb

Then sometimes your goals make you feel like you’re going back the way you came, similar to traversing the hill as you make your way around the hill.

Then your destination is in sight ( the village of Istan) though it is not your real destination, merely a stepping stone to the long term goal.

Your long term goal should be big enough to excite you and large enough that you may never attain it- it’s who you become while going for it. At the same time small stepping stones are great for resilience and perseverance

There will be days when it’s tough and the environment makes it interesting- a bit like cycling up the hill when it’s windy or it decides to rain when your 3/4 there.

Other times you decide to take it easy and have great achievements, other days you will feel great and it feels like a hard slog.

So if your struggling to reach your goals because your holding yourself back. Hypnotherapy can unlock the wheels of motion and propel you forward.
