🍪 Ok ladies, so How Many of Us Eat Without Really Thinking About It?

Be honest — when was the last time you reached for a snack even though you weren’t hungry? Maybe after dinner, you sat down to watch TV and suddenly wanted biscuits, chocolate, or crisps… sound familiar? 😅

Often, it’s not hunger — it’s boredom or our minds trying to unwind after a long, busy day. When we finally stop, our thoughts wander… straight to the snack cupboard!

So what can we do instead?
💃 Go for a walk or move your body — fresh air can do wonders.
🎧 Put on your favourite music or an audiobook.
🎨 Find a hobby that keeps your mind and hands busy — knitting, gardening, puzzles, or crafting.

Personally, I like cross-stitch and reading— they help me relax and keep me focused 💕

It’s totally normal for your weight to fluctuate from day to day, and it doesn’t always mean anything drastic has changed.

Here are 7 common reasons why this happens:

1. Water retention – Your body can hold onto extra water due to salty foods, hormonal changes, or dehydration.

2. Hormonal cycles – Especially around your period, hormones like oestrogen and progesterone can cause temporary bloating and water weight.

3. Carbohydrate intake – Eating more carbs than usual means your body stores extra glycogen, which binds with water.

4. Digestive changes – Things like constipation or a big meal can cause short-term increases on the scale.

5. Exercise – After a workout, your muscles retain water as they repair, which can make your weight temporarily higher.

6. Sleep and stress – Lack of sleep and high stress can affect hormones that regulate fluid balance and appetite.

7. Alcohol – It can dehydrate you at first, then cause your body to hold onto water afterwards.

Your weight is just data, not a verdict.
Focus on long-term patterns, not daily numbers.

Progress isn’t always linear, so, if the scale moves up or down a bit, it’s often just your body doing its thing and that’s okay.

The key? A little bit of planning and balance.
Here are some simple, friendly tips to help you enjoy the weekend:

Make It About More Than Food👨‍👨‍👦‍👦
Easter isn’t just about eating. Go for a walk, play games, decorate eggs, or spend time with family and friends. Focus on the moments, not just the meals.

Eat Mindfully🍽
Slow down and enjoy your food. Pay attention to when you’re full, and don’t rush—this helps you avoid overeating and enjoy it more.
