The JADE Health project JADE Health - Joint Action Addressing Dementia and Health participated in a session of the Dementia Research Dialogues: Where Blueprint Meets Practice series, organized by the World Health Organization (WHO) to support the implementation of the WHO Blueprint for Dementia Research.
🧠 This Blueprint aims to accelerate dementia research, improve care, and promote prevention through international collaboration.
👥 The session, which brought together around 40 participants, was presented by Katrin Seeher (WHO) and moderated by Laura García Díaz (WHO). Bernardino Morillo Merino, project coordinator, presented the project’s objectives and structure, as well as the components of the European consortium, and encouraged new entities to join as stakeholders.
During the open discussion, the alignment of several JADE Health work packages with the Blueprint’s six thematic areas was highlighted, as well as the potential for future collaborations beyond the EU. The role of Joint Actions in strengthening European public health, fostering cooperation among Member States, and facilitating the transfer of good practices was also emphasized.
🤝At FundeSalud, we will continue collaborating with WHO and sharing our progress to contribute to more efficient, equitable, and impactful dementia research.
