𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗣𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗲 𝗡𝗼.5 𝗹 Under the Moonlight, with you🖋️
Prose poetry/Written by Caffeine

A written piece by caffeine embodies a quiet ache, a longing not for passion’s fire, but for tenderness that soothes. Beneath the moon’s calm gaze, love becomes a sanctuary where time softens, silence speaks, and hearts find rest. The speaker yearns for a love that does not consume, but comforts , one that flows like a tide, steady and serene. It is a plea to hold onto a fleeting moment of peace, where affection is felt not in words, but in presence. In this stillness, love is both gentle and infinite. A soft forever beneath the blue.

𝑳𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒊, 𝒔𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒍𝒊 𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒖𝒉𝒖𝒍𝒊!? 👀

We see you! The one who's always there for everyone else. The shoulder to cry on, the listening ear, the problem solver, the reliable friend. You show up for others without question, but when was the last time you showed up for yourself?

It's World Mental Health Day, and this is your reminder: it’s not selfish to rest, it’s not wrong to set boundaries, and it’s not weak to admit you need help too. You matter as well.

To everyone who puts others first—your needs are valid. Your feelings matter. Your mental health deserves the same attention and care you freely give to others.

So to this today, put yourself on that list of people you take care of. Check in with your own heart. Give yourself permission to pause, to breathe, to heal.

Because you can't be there for others if you're not there for yourself first. You deserve the same kindness you give. Take care of yourself too. 🤗💚

𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗣𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗲 𝗡𝗼.1 𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 🎭
Prose poetry by Red

A piece that resonates with the quiet tragedy of losing oneself in the pursuit of validation. It reminds us that beneath the applause and bright recognition lies the 𝒔𝒖𝒃𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆 of a self slowly fading away. ✍🏻

May we learn to 𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐮𝐬 and find beauty not in validation, but in the peace that comes from simply being who we are. 💖

𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗹 The art was drawn by the author himself with inspiration from those in public domain.

𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐬 𝐀𝐃𝐇𝐃 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡, a time to recognize, understand, and embrace the complex minds that experience the world differently.

This month, we stand in solidarity with our community members navigating ADHD and everyone learning to honor their journey.

In psychology, we live by the rules of APA— but this time, we’re not talking about citations! Today, we honor our very own 𝗔𝗣𝗔: 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗵, 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗣𝗲𝘃𝗶, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗔𝗵𝗿𝗮 — the amazing teaching staff of the Department of Psychology who continue to shape, guide, and inspire us through their dedication for teaching 💞

This 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆, we celebrate you for being more than just teachers. You are role models, motivators, and the reason we strive to become better students (𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘰𝘰𝘯, 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘧𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘴!)

Thank you for training us to be ready for the future and for reminding us that learning is not just about theories, but about growth, compassion, and curiosity. We love you! 💗
