Today, we are proud to introduce our newest feature: Label Scan.🏷
You can now just scan the label of a dental implant and find all the technical details in the Spotimplant search engine! 🔎
To achieve this, we use AI and OCR to match the label with our implant database of 3000 models. Basically, it’s Yuka Group for implants
As always, Spotimplant strives to make implant data as accessible as possible!

🏆 We are pleased to announce that Spotimplant has won the Grand Prize for Medical Prevention , awarded by La prévention Médicale organization and French insurer MACSF

Our solution was awarded by a jury of doctors, dentists and medical professionals who recognized the unique value proposition we provide to dentists when solving cases of unknown or uncommon implants, thus preventing further risks.

The award ceremony took place on Monday, May 9, in presence of CEO Stéphane Dessirier, Nicolas GOMBAULT, Moll Marie-Christine, and many executives and representatives from the group.

We are honored to receive this award and would like to thank everyone who has supported us so far in bringing Spotimplant to life.

We just passed the milestone of 30K radiographs annotated. 💪

As you know, AI requires a large amount of data.
To train our identification technology, we manually collected and annotated thousands of radiographs. For each image, a dentist has to draw a rectangle around the implant and indicate which implant model it is.

This is a tedious, time-consuming process that is not as glamorous as we imagine AI to be, but that is what makes it powerful and valuable!
