Jennifer was born in the Midwest with a curiosity for foreign languages, relations and places that has taken her all over the world. Her connection to yoga began in 2001 when she took her first class in university. That experience proved transformative, yet it would take time before a more consistent, daily practice was formed. Convinced that film was meant to be her life path, she headed to LA on
a one-way with neither house nor job in tow. She managed to find both in less than a week, and in the process, discovered vinyasa flow. It was the perfect balance between body and brain and provided the much needed peace and calm she was looking for. In 2015 while walking the Camino de Santiago, a 500 mile journey across Spain, a strong desire emerged to connect more deeply to yoga and in a teaching capacity. Keen to explore this further, she signed up for and successfully completed Lauren Eckstrom and Travis Eliot’s 200-hour holistic yoga flow teacher training program. It was yet another life-changing experience and one that has compelled her to want to share it with others.
