I’ve had the opportunity to participate for another year in the Hand Therapy Specialist Course at the Rey Juan Carlos University. I offer a hand surgeon’s perspective to hand therapists. The best results are achieved through teamwork, giving our best, and in a multidisciplinary approach. Since I began my training in Zaragoza with Dr. Pedro Marquina, I’ve always known that if you want to achieve the best results for your patients, you need to have good hand therapists by your side. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it and felt honored to be part of their training. Thank you

He tenido la oportunidad de participar un año más en el Curso de Especialista en Terapia de la mano en la universidad Rey Juan Carlos. Dando la visión del cirujano de mano a terapeutas de mano. Los mejores resultados se obtienen trabajando en equipo, dando lo mejor de nosotros mismos y de forma multidisciplinar. Desde que inicié mi formación en Zaragoza junto al Dr Pedro Marquina, siempre he sabido que si quieres obtener los mejores resultados en tus pacientes, necesitas tener a buenos terapeutas de mano a tu lado. Rupture of an ulnar plate after doing an effort, 2 months after surgery. Plate of proximal ulnar osteotomy of skeletal was used with good stabilization. Sometimes we have to think and perform techniques used for other problems that are useful. .ruizza .orbay

Amazing case with walant of stiffness at the fourth and fifth finger. Fracture of proximal phalanx of the fourth and fifth digit. I performed a dorsal Tenolisis of extensor tendons and arthrolisis at PIP joint. We had a great passive motion of flexión but no active motion at flexor tendons. Then I did a Tenolisis of FDP and FDS tendon at proximal phalanx with a transverse incision at the volar aspect of the hand. Adhesion at the fracture were found. Then I full active range of motion passive and active were achieved. Today deep flexor tendon injury of the third and fourth finger and nerve collateral injuries of the same fingers after a knive cut. Under walant tendon attachment to de distal phalangeal bone with a bone anchor and microsurgical suture with 10/0 nylon of the collateral digital nerves of the third and fourth finger. .brutus

La meralgia parestesica es una compresión del nervio femoral cutáneo a nivel de la espina iliaca anterosuperior. La clínica es clara y la ecografía permite identificar el nervio con el engrosamiento precompresivo. Además podemos colocar un arpón señalando donde está el nervio y facilitar su identificación. Increíble. Gracias Ángel Bueno por tu inestimable ayuda. Cirugía preciosa y poco frecuente comparando con otras Neuropatias compresivas.

Pseudoartrosis polo proximal escafoides tratada de forma artroscopica mediante cruentado, aporte de injerto y estabilización con tornillo anterogrado. Espectacular resultado. La artroscopia acorta los tiempos y minimiza la agresion quirurgica. Dupuytren bilateral intervenido de forma simultánea mediante fasciotomia ecoguiada y Artrolisis ecoguiada. Resultado a los 7 días. Hoy el paciente me ha comentado que incluso a la semana de la cirugía ha jugado al golf. No podemos pedir más!!!!

It was a great honor to stay in the BSSH and SECMA congress organized by Guillem Salva and Carlos Heras Palou. We did the exam of the Spanish Hand Surgery diploma, we organized with the great Zaf Naqui and Natalie the Challenge between diplomats and Dons. Amazing game. Amazing Congress in Mallorca
