The world feels… a lot right now.
Fast, loud, heavy sometimes.

So this month in my classes and in my little online community we’re sitting with Satya — truthfulness, one of the teachings from the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. Not really as philosophy, more like… a question for how we live.

The other day I tried to read the news and immediately felt my breath shorten and my heart race. I had to step outside for a bit, feel the ground under my feet, let things settle.

It made me wonder:

What is actually true in your life right now?
What is supporting you?
Who or what is quietly nourishing you?

Lately I’ve been hearing the same thing from many people.

“I don’t know how to rest anymore.”

Not as an idea — in the body.

When they lie down, the mind starts racing. The chest tightens. The list of things to do appears. Rest feels uncomfortable, almost undeserved.

It made me reflect on how deep our exhaustion really goes — and how unfamiliar simple rest can feel.

I wrote a little about this, and about Rest Nest, a space where we gather a few times a week just to lie down, breathe, and practice resting together.

And if you’re addicted to rushing, proving, producing, achieving… you probably won’t like it.

Because inside this space we practice something radical:
We stop.
We soften.
We listen.
Not once.
But twice a week.
