Phoenix Programmes

Phoenix Programmes Phoenix Programmes offer a proven solution to alcohol, drug and behavioural addictions and disorders This awareness led us to conceive Phoenix Programmes.

My name is Chris Spencer and I work alongside my business partner, Anita Cragen. With over 28 years dedicated to addiction recovery, I bring my expertise and experience, while Anita brings 20 years of her own. Over these decades, we've had the privilege of aiding clients worldwide. I have personally witnessed the deep suffering and havoc addiction wreaks on individuals' lives, their well-being, re

lationships, and families. We offer meticulously tailored treatment plans, uniquely designed for each individual's distinct journey to recovery. We have built a foundation rooted in crafting a programme to suit you, addressing the mind, body, and spirituality. Our experience has taught us that addiction is a complex disease and all aspects need addressing for a successful recovery. So as well as physically detoxing and healing the body, our programmes target the psychological and spiritual hole that can’t be filled with drink, drugs, or any behavioural high. We have fine-tuned our approach over the decades, tailoring our treatment to guide you to your own personal solution. Both Anita and myself are certified International Alcohol and Drug Therapists and qualified Recovery Dynamics Counsellors, and members of the Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals. With a specific focus on aiding mothers with addiction and young children, Anita intimately understands the challenges of motherhood and the pressures addiction places on families. I have a distinguished track record of working with notable clients on an individual basis, including celebrities, politicians, royalty, and high-net worth individuals from a diverse range of nations, accommodated here in Spain or in their home countries. I am also a founding member of the first addiction treatment centre in Dubai, before transitioning my practice to Spain 3 years later. My expertise spans all facets of addiction, with three decades of experience successfully treating a wide range of substance abuse disorders; behavioural addictions such as gambling, social media, and s*x; and psychological problems like ADHD, OCD, anxiety and depression. Through this work, I have guided numerous individuals in rebuilding their lives and embracing prosperous futures, and I have played a pivotal role in crafting addiction recovery programmes and a range of workshops covering compulsive behaviours. As a dedicated addiction therapist, I am deeply committed to each individual’s journey to recovery. This devotion fuels my daily work. I channelled my years of experience into founding a luxury private rehabilitation centre in Southern Spain. Inspired by my work with international clients, I aspired to create a haven for rest, healing, and personalised care.

What began as freedom and exploration had slowly shifted into something more concerning, alcohol, then drugs, and a gradual loss of direction.

A father secures discreet addiction treatment in Spain for his daughter. Private rehab with ongoing aftercare for lasting recovery.

When I first discovered alcohol, I believed I had found the missing piece in my personality. With a drink in my hand, I felt more confident, more articulate, and more socially at ease. Alcohol seemed to give me a voice.

Alcohol may still intoxicate, but there comes a point when it no longer brings relief, confidence, or pleasure. This is when alcohol stops working.

My name is Chris Spencer and I have worked in the recovery and addiction field for over 25 years, helping clients from all around the world. During that time, I have seen first-hand the misery and destruction that misuse of alcohol and drugs can cause; the untold damage it can do to people’s lives, relationships, health and financial well-being.

Sadly, it is a problem that continues to grow each year, with an ever-increasing number of people finding themselves victim to what can become a progressive and fatal disease. When you need to find the right alcohol or drug rehab program for yourself or a loved one, it can be difficult to tell why one care provider or approach might work better than another. Choosing a treatment program isn't like picking out a new car—this is about life. You are making a big decision—with no guarantees, which is why expertise and integrity matter. All our core team have spent many years’ working within the field of addiction, all are practiced, professional and highly qualified.

We use feedback-informed treatment, known as FIT throughout all our courses and our therapists will continually adjust each patient’s care plan to encourage the best outcomes. Many of our previous patients have achieved 5, 10 and 15 years of sobriety and we can arrange for you to talk with one should you have further questions about Phoenix Programmes. What makes us different from other treatment programmes? Our experience and knowledge. Gained through many years of treating individuals from all over the globe. We have a balance of specialised professionals and therapists; recovery conducive environments and the best available treatment programmes, all aimed at enhancing the recovery process.
