Breast cancer is cancer that forms in the tissue of the breasts.
After skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in women. Both men and women can develop breast cancer. How much alcohol is harmful? It is known that the consumption of alcoholic beverages has an effect on the risk of cancer - but at what dose is alcohol consumption harmful? Nutrition and cancer experts advise not to underestimate the amount of alcohol consumed, because - strictly speaking - there is no amount of alcohol that can be consumed without hesitation - therefore consumption should be restricted. This means that you should abstain from alcohol completely on at least two days a week and if you want to drink something, you should do so at mealtimes. A rough guideline says: Healthy men should not consume more than 20 grams of pure alcohol per day (about half a liter of beer / a quarter liter of wine) - for women the limit is 10 grams (a quarter liter of beer / an eighth liter of wine).
