Not every patient needs a tummy tuck.
This case shows a borderline situation we see very often in daily practice.

The patient already had noticeable skin laxity and subcutaneous fat — a scenario where many surgeons would recommend an abdominoplasty.

And while that wouldn’t be wrong, it’s not always the only option.
In this case, we chose a different approach.
Using 360° liposuction combined with intensive J-Plasma skin tightening, we were able to significantly improve contour and achieve visible skin retraction — without the need for a full tummy tuck.

Important to understand: J-Plasma is not a replacement for surgery in cases of massive excess skin. It cannot create a “tight like a garment” effect.
But in moderate or borderline indications like this, it can deliver impressive, natural-looking improvement.

This is exactly where advanced skin retraction technology shows its true value.

This case shows what can be achieved when multiple advanced body contouring techniques are combined in a structured and individualized way.
The patient presented with a so-called “bullhorn deformity”, where the waist appears wider than the hips, creating a very unbalanced silhouette.
Our approach focused on restoring proportion and harmony:
– waist definition
– hip expansion
– gluteal projection
Using a combination of gluteal implants, fat transfer and advanced contouring techniques, we were able to completely reshape the waist-to-hip ratio.
The result speaks for itself: a natural, balanced and highly aesthetic outcome.

This case shows an extreme post-pregnancy body deformity with massive skin excess (Silakis type 4B), severe re**us diastasis and advanced gluteal deflation.
In many hands, this constellation would lead to a vertical or cross-shaped scar pattern. In this case, we deliberately achieved full correction using a purely horizontal approach.
The procedure combined a 360-degree liposuction with extended abdominoplasty and targeted fat transfer into the trochanteric depressions, restoring both abdominal tension and gluteal contour.
The final intraoperative view demonstrates a fully reconstructed abdominal wall with marked tightening and anatomical realignment.
This approach requires precise planning, experience with complex body contouring and a clear understanding of when vertical scar extensions can be safely avoided.
