When your shoulders creep upward, and your neck feels stiff, it’s your body gently asking for a pause. Try these 3 grounding techniques at home:
• Roll up a small towel and place it behind your neck while lying down. Let your head relax over it and gently move your chin toward your chest, holding for 20–30 seconds.
• Sit or stand tall. Roll your shoulders back and forward. Then gently lift your shoulders toward your ears, hold 3 seconds, and release.
• Stand inside a doorway with your forearms on the frame, elbows at 90°. Lean forward slightly until you feel a stretch across your chest and front shoulders. Hold for 20–30 seconds.
