The Board of Spain Certified Addiction Counselors (BSCAC), based in Marbella, Spain, is a non-profit organization, which provides alcohol and drug abuse counselor certification to individuals living and or working in Spain. This Board was formed in 2013 to offer certification to Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors, and is based on the standards and methods offered by the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC), a multi-state and nation body organized to promote uniform professional standards and quality for the substance abuse counseling profession, and to give the profession greater visibility in the U.S. As a result of membership in IC&RC/BSCAC, our certified counselors may relocate to other states, the military services and other countries, and transfer their certification with a minimum of effort and expense.
