When you’re constantly “on,” your body stays in survival mode. Cortisol levels are high, breath shallow, shoulders tight. Over time, that pace becomes your normal… even though it’s anything but natural.

Things you should know before coming to our yoga classes at Shanti-Som 🧘‍♀️
Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned yogi, here are a few tips to help you feel prepared and at ease:
1. No experience needed – Our classes are open to all levels. Just come with an open mind.
2. Arrive 5–10 minutes early – Give yourself time to settle in and ground before we begin.
3. Wear something comfortable – Movement friendly clothes are best. No shoes needed.
4. Bring your water bottle – Stay hydrated, especially in warmer classes where we practice in our outdoor pavilion.
5. Mats and props are provided – But feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
6. Listen to your body – This is your practice. Modify when needed, rest when needed.
7. Expect more than movement – Our classes often include breathwork, mindfulness, and deep relaxation.
Our yoga spaces are designed to support presence, peace, and personal transformation. We can’t wait to welcome you on the mat.
