November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month. It is the time of year in which we raise awareness about the dangers of Lung Cancer.

It is important to know the signs and symptoms, and so, here are some examples:

•A persistent cough that lasts three weeks or more.
•Breathlessness.
•Repeat chest infections.
•Chest or shoulder pain.
•Coughing up blood.
•A loss of appetite or unexplained weight loss.
•New onset of wheezing.

If you are experiencing any of these symptoms contact your GP practice, early diagnosis and treatment of Cancer can save lives.

These are just a few of the most known symptoms, but there are others that you might not even associate with menopause including anxiety, depression, panic disorder, irritability, fatigue, brain fog, decreased libido and more.

3 in 4 women will experience symptoms of menopause and these symptoms can be debilitating. Don’t suffer in silence, if you are struggling with any of these symptoms contact your GP for assessment and support.
