This is one of the most difficult things I have ever had to write. It comes with great sadness of what I am about to say,
On the of 28th of October The Green Owl was told by the local police that he had to close his doors.
We want to make it clear that we have done everything possible to fight this situation but along with many other cannabis social clubs in the area it is clear that this is out of our control and cannot be corrected.
We have so many reasons to be truly grateful that we had the honour of having The Green Owl, A place where we have met some of the nicest people we know and have made life long bonds with, and that we now think of as family.
The owl was where "The Georges' " met and our love story began, then together we went on to have our beautiful daughter, our greatest achievement
We believe that the owl has defined who we all are as people, willing to take risks and to stand by what we believe in and we have absolutely no regrets.
We would like to thank every single person that ever walked through the owls doors, you all made it what it was, the owl would not have been the place it was without you.
The Owl has had to come to an end but the owls family will never end and thats something that they CANNOT control!
The Owl was a dream that we made a reality and will always have a place in our hearts and its definitely a story and a half that we can tell the grandchildren!
I would also like to thank the real (and not green) owl that landed on my car that night, a few months prior to opening in 2018 you stopped there for a reason and I hope we did you proud.
So as The Green owl flies away, we are grateful of the years he stayed with us.
However now its time to send him on his way,
