This course is designed for those who wish to deepen their personal Ashtanga yoga practice while gaining a deeper understanding of traditional adjustments within the Mysore method. Self-practice is at the heart of the course, with each participant practicing at their own pace under continuous and individual guidance from the teacher.
The course is open to all levels – from those who are new to Ashtanga yoga to practitioners with a more established and regular practice. Teaching is adapted to where each participant is in their personal journey, with an emphasis on safety, progressive development, and respect for the body’s individual conditions. Adjustments are given according to traditional methods and aim to deepen the understanding of the postures, improve stability and mobility, and cultivate a more conscious connection between breath and movement.
