Hi everyone, we are Dan and Jo and we have taken over the business, Island Mobility Lanzarote. We are the island’s number one provider of rental disability/mobility equipment. We aim to be a one-stop-shop where you can get everything you will need to ensure that you have the freedom to have the best holiday. Our main focus is on customer care because we know how important it is to ensure that you
have the right equipment ready for you when you go away on holiday. We are available to you at all times and should any issues arise, we will ensure that these are resolved as quickly as possible to ensure that you enjoy your invaluable holiday time. We have lived in Lanzarote since 2017. We relocated from Hertfordshire, UK, to live a more outdoor, relaxed life with our three young sons. Our eldest son, George has muscular dystrophy and we decided that in order to get the best quality of life for him and his brothers, a move to the lovely warm climate of Lanzarote would be the best thing we could do. We weren’t wrong, our boys have all thrived on the island and they absolutely love the chilled-out way of life here. George’s disability has meant that we understand more than most, the importance of being able to ensure that things will be accessible for him wherever we go. We know that it is the difference between being able to enjoy quality time away and simply not being able to leave home because you can’t get access to the right equipment. When the opportunity arose we realised that this was the absolutely perfect business for us, it was a natural fit. We could use our own personal experience as a family with a child with disabilities, along with our knowledge of Lanzarote to help other people to get the most out of their holidays without the hassle and worry of sorting out the right equipment.
