When you are fasting, you can use this energy for boosting your immune system, your brains or decreasing inflammation.
👀Fasting will also turn ‘’white fat’’ into ‘’brown fat’’. Brown fat will increase your metabolism
👀The nutrition we don’t need as energy within the moment will be stored as fat.
👀When we eat regularly, the body will constantly make insuline. Our body will get used to the amount of insuline and make more, which makes us hungry again.
Insuline also blocks the creation of the hormone Leptine. Leptine inhibits the feeling of hunger. It also gives permission to free energy, which makes us feel energized.
👀Fasting activates autophagy. Autophagy is the proces where the body cleans our cells. It will repair the cells from damage and ageing.
👀Your genes will change in a way that relates to expension of life and protection of diseases.
How to fast periodic?
There are multiple options for periodic fasting. To benefit from fasting, you have to have at least a period of 14 hours where you don't consume energy.
🌱16/8: You eat 8 hours a day and fast 16 hours a day.
🌱24 hours: One day a week you fast for 24 hours.
🌱5/2: 5 days a week you eat normal, the other 2 days you eat as little as posible. This means around 500 calories.
⚡️My experience with fasting⚡️
I started fasting as a curiosity. I love breakfast food, so I could not imagine, giving up my favorite meal of the day. The first week I felt terrible, my body was not used to this. But after the first week, everything changed. I experienced all the benefits of fasting and never felt as good. I had a lot of energy! I felt hungry when I was able to eat, this was normally something I struggled with. My metabolism was working normal, finally. I didn’t experience acidification during sports anymore. And although I did not want to lose weight, my body composition was changing. For years I had the same weight and would never get rid of fat in certain areas. This changed, into me losing centimeters in a blink of an eye.
