Had a fabulous Thursday hosting a day spa for two lovely ladies. A one-hour holistic therapy session each, use of the pool (although it was a bit too chilly for 💦 today) and a free upgrade from a 30- minute guided meditation, to a 45-minute Sacred Ceremonial Cacao meditation experience. They brought their own lunch and floated away this evening feeling completely relaxed and renewed.

What a fabulous afternoon hosting a sacred ceremonial cacao ceremony. I used fairtrade, ethically sourced, ceremonial grade cacao from Guatemala and we worked with the energies of the spirit of the cacao, new moon, autumn equinox and solar eclipse.
As we drank this nectar (cacao, raw local honey, chilli, and vanilla and plant milk) the spirit of the cacao activated within us and "it was like being hugged". This beautiful heart opener gently guided us all on our individual journeys following a guided meditation to take us into our own heart space, having set our individual intentions for the ceremony. It released blocks, empowered self love and acceptance and guided us to embrace our authentic selves and be who we were born to be ... rather than the person we have been told we "should be" by societal conditioning.

Here are two easy peasy lemon squeezy 10-minute routines - because let's face it, cat's always look like they're loving a good stretch! Don't fancy a routine? Then just have a really good stretch in bed at every opportunity!

Whilst on a significant healing journey myself, I learned that barefoot grounding / earthing is scientifically proven to reduce inflammation, reduce pain and fatigue and bring about relaxation thus aiding better sleep. Simply walking and standing barefoot on grass, beach, the earth, etc (i.e. natural ground not concrete, tiles or carpet) "earths" the electrical circuits in our body so that it can heal itself.

Write down things that you're grateful for! It helps to raise your vibration which makes good things happen!
Showing gratitude for even the smallest thing helps us to attract more of the same and when are vibe is high we're able to manifest more effectively. What are you grateful for? Thr rain? The sun? Your furbabies? Your health? Optimism for your future? That bad times are behind you?
Even better, do it with a smile on your face! Smiling increases mood-enhancing hormones while decreasing stress-enhancing hormones, including cortisol, and adrenaline. It also reduces overall blood pressure. And because you typically smile when you're happy, the muscles used trigger your brain to produce more endorphins—the chemical that relieves pain and stress.
Another thought - write down happy times / something that you're grateful for, every day and put the piece of paper in a jar. On 1st January read them back to yourself and remember what a great time you've had and bring on a brilliant year to come! 😁

Here's a playlist I've put together for deep relaxation... ideal to fall asleep to.
It includes a beautiful "song" by Anders Holt whose vioce has been found to hit healing frequencies. There are also some beautiful healing tunes at the same frequency as the heart, third eye and crown chakras. They are beautiful and healing and I listen to them as I drift off to sleep at siesta o'clock or at the end of the day).
