Today, together with volunteers from and other passionate volunteers, we collected 19 kilograms of plastic and waste and cleaned up 1,400 cigarette butts. That is 1,400,000 litres of water that will no longer be polluted. Despite the heat, it was another fantastic clean-up.
We were able to carry out the clean-up safely and with good equipment thanks to donations from the Dutch , which donated ring grabbers, bags and other useful equipment to us. We would also like to express our gratitude to and Henk, who provided us with the excellent small grabbers. Despite being on holiday, they and their friends came to support us and assist with the clean-ups.
Thank you all very much; we could not do this without the volunteers. We look forward to the next clean-up event.
