Many mums I work with feel disconnected from their bodies.
Busy lives.Mental overload.Stress that accumulates quietly in the nervous system.
Over time, the body stops feeling like a place of safety and guidance, and becomes a place of tension, fatigue or numbness.
This is one of the reasons I practice Shakti Dance every week.
Not as a performance.But as a nervous system regulation practice.
Through breath, gentle movement and rhythm, the body can:
* release accumulated tension
* restore internal rhythm
* increase awareness of what we are holding physically and emotionally
When the nervous system feels overwhelmed, the body needs simple signals of safety and rhythm.
You can start here:
1. Find a quiet space where you won’t be interrupted.
2. Ground yourself — feel your feet, your body, your breath.
3. Put on music you love.
4. Start breathing slowly.
5. Let your body move gently, without forcing anything.
Your body already knows how to return to balance.Sometimes it just needs space, rhythm and attention.
Reconnection happens step by step.
If you feel the call to reconnect with your body and regulate your nervous system in a deeper way, I’d love to support you.
Feel free to DM me if this resonates with you.
