Yoga with BrittanyB Mindful Vinyasa Flow, Yin & Prenatal classes rooted in yoga philosophy.Subscription online platform I am a RYT Yoga Alliance certified teacher.

I completed yoga teacher training courses in India: in Vinyasa Flow (RYT 200) and Yin Yoga (RYT 100) at Trimurti Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa/ Iyengar at Abhinam Yoga (RYT 30). I teach in various yoga studios in Verona (Italy). I also offer group, private and corporate classes in person and online and I host workshops and retreats. You can access my yoga videos online through my Patreon website, to bring the nourishing practice of yoga into your home. I have an abundant and growing library of pre-recorded yin yoga and vinyasa flow classes, asana tutorials, meditations and pranayama techniques to suit new and experienced yoga practitioners alike. There are several different membership tiers to suit a variety of needs and most importantly to make the beautiful practice of yoga accessible to all. You can choose membership tiers which include only pre-recorded content or a combination of live zoom classes and pre-recorded content. 🔥Don't let the constant barrage of on social media ...
Guilt you into feeling you need to do or be anything other than what you are intuitively doing to keep your baby happy and healthy, while holding on to your sanity and looking after YOU on very little sleep ...

Even if that means...
💫You don't manage or want to get on your mat today, or tomorrow or for the next week or month or whatever... TOTALLY LEGITIMATE!
💫You no longer feel fulfilled by striving for perfection in the primary series or chasing the illusive handstand press or whatever it is that drove you before... AWESOME!

!!! Your body is a miracle that literally gave life...you deserve to...
🙌 heal in your own time
🙌 not want to or need to return to 'pre-pregnancy' you... why should we when what we are now is so much more interesting and potent!!!
🙌 bare those scars and new shapes and curves with pride
🙌 redefine who you are and what you want on your own terms post-baby...
🙌 silence the critics, your inner-critic and protect your inner peace by all means possible!

!!! Legitimate choices instead of practicing yoga or doing other exercise:
🌼 Contact napping with baby in your arms
🌼 Finding that responding to all baby's comfort & physical needs doesn't allow for much uninterrupted practice
🌼 Exclusively breastfeeding making it hard to go to a yoga or exercise class or simply not wanting to be a part from baby
🌼 Sleeping, resting, eating, working, cleaning or doing whatever else calls you
🌼 Doing NOTHING as a choice
🌼Full in the blank -----
🌼 Practising only when, what and how long YOU feel is right for you and baby!!

Another world is not only possible,
she is on her way.
On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing-
Arundhati Roy 🧡

If we tred more lightly,
Live more slowly,
See nature with the eyes of a child,
Neither a commodity, nor merely a beautiful landscape,
But an integral part of who we are,
Learning who we are through her,
Learning to nurture, to love, to grow, to blossom, to sustain, to thrive in community, to be still in silence, to be joy, to endure... to let go.
With more people awakened to the impossibility of seperation from her,
A new world is indeed possible.

🌿Spring is definitely in the air in Barcelona ... my very favourite season and the first time exploring it through Sofia's eyes... it is all the more transcendent🌼

In all its beauty it slowly unravels in an explosion of colour and life,

Sprung forth from the dark silence of winter... 

Where nature seems dormant, introverted, resting... 

In late winter, there's a lingering appearence of suffering, 

A test of life's resilience to persist, a sense of barely hanging on...  

And then... as if from nowhere... 

Spring comes forth, reminding us that we can make it through anything... 

That from rest, pause, inward-looking, facing ourselves in the darkness...

In all 'the feels' of our humanity, flows the greatest inspiration, creation, life in abundance ...

Spring reminds us that sometimes we are so focused on the struggles of life, we don't take time to notice that what we are planting is slowly making its way through the hard soil, about to bloom... everything just needs its time... 

Spring rewards us for our patience and nature for her perseverance... 

Mother nature and yoga reminds us not to get caught up in chasing the feel good sensations all the time... 

Sometimes it's facing the tough parts and sitting with the uncomfortable, where the real growth happens... 

Where evolution and healing occurs and a full embrace of life in all her colours happens... a peaceful joy of being unravels 🌼

ॐ🤰 Prenatal Yoga Course: Blissful Pregnancy & Empowered Birth, is an Air and Ether/Space practice.

🌱🌊🔥🌬🪐 In the course we use the elements to explore different aspects of ourselves, and our pregnancy, birth and parenting journey... to find balance, and to feel empowered and at peace 😌

🌬🪐Air and Ether/ Space Elements together comprise the Vata Dosha type in Ayurveda. The fall and winter are Vata seasons. 

🌬 Air is connected to our heart chakra, or ‘Anahata’ in Sanskrit, meaning ‘unstruck’ or ‘undefeated’. Living from an aligned heart-centre brings in an unshakeable sense of serenity and resilience. Along with this, Air and Anahata express the beautiful characteristics of universal and unconditional love and compassion; beautiful values and energies to invite into our pregnancy and parenting journey.

🪐 Space or Ether Element houses all of the other four elements. It is the essence of emptiness and stillness and yet it is expansive and omnipresent. In our practice we find moments to cultivate these qualities in our movements and most importantly in our stillness and equanimity of mind- the essence of yoga.

🪐 Space Element is connected to our Throat Chakra- our ability for self-expression and to speak and live our truth. These are critical lessons on our pregnancy journey, allowing us to speak up for and create the birth we want for our babies and also the space we want to cultivate to bring them up in, as we renegotiate and re-envision our lives and relationships anew.

🔥 Fire Element: Inner Strength

🔥I filmed this at 38 weeks pregnant and I still remember how glorious those side bends felt for my achy back!

🔥 Fire is a truly beautiful element to work with in Pregnancy. It is connected to Manipura Chakra and together their healing journey is all about finding our inner strength, self-confidence, power and harnessing our ability for transformation.

🔥 Fire Element is linked to our digestive system- something that can be a bit of a challenging aspect of pregnancy to manage but which asana and pranayama can assist with. On a subtler level, fire element is also about ‘digesting life’, being adaptable and courageous in the face of changes and understanding our inner calling and dharma- all beautiful themes to prepare for motherhood and birth.

Raw, real and unfiltered postnatal moments on my mat...

Gentle, cautious movement exploring the new edges and bounds of my healing postnatal body,

Absolute gratitude and awe at what this body has brought forth... although not strong as before... healing and evolving,

Complete surrender of what was before allows me to absorb the new without judgement or clinging to the past me and find in it ... a beautiful, precious joy,

A practice full of sweet moments ...
Sun salutes interspersed with baba cuddles, coos and breastfed savasanas,

Surrounded by drying reusable nappies and a somewhat disheveled house,

But content as can be 🙏💖

▶ ॐ Prenatal Earth Element: The Divine Feminine ॐ (70 mins): This full prenatal class is themed around the Earth Element. We draw on the concept of mother earth and the divine feminine to tap into our innate strength and to walk this pregnancy journey and birth with confidence. Earth element's journey is about feeling rooted, centred, calm, held, supported and safe.

▶ ॐ Prenatal Yoga: Relaxing & Releasing Seated Flow ॐ (25 mins): A relaxing and releasing seated Prenatal Flow to give some love to your legs, hips, back and side body during pregnancy.
