Louise Arnaiz Coach Health and Wellness Coach Hi, my name is Louise Arnaiz and I am a Mam, Step-Mam and Wife. I am a volunteer with E.P.I.C. Are you ready?!

I am Irish, and today I live on the beautiful island of Tenerife, Canary Islands. (Everyday People Initiating Change) We help bring clean water to remote villages in Tanzania, Africa. I LOVE nature and being connected to it is most calming for my nervous system, especially amongst the trees. For over 20 years I was the Regional Manager of an Organic & Natural Suncare co., with security, experience

and flexibility within my role. So why?, does one ask, would I give it all up and decide to become a Health and Wellness Coach? For some years before, I kept hearing whispers that I must find my purpose. I wondered about and searched for this 'purpose' and then one day the voice inside me was no longer whispering but shouting that I was put on this earth to help women lead healthier and more fulfilled lives! I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN)* where I learned innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, holistic health, including foundational nutrition principles, nutrition science, and over 100 dietary theories, as well as personal development, goal-setting and much more. I believe that consistent habits lead to lasting changes in your life and I am here with you every step of the way to help you achieve those changes.

It was pretty clear since I was small that I was here to be a Mam! I’m the eldest of 5 and I loved being a big sister, taking care and watching out for my siblings.

I left home to go to Italy at 17 and by the time I was 25 I consciously decided I was ready to bring a little angel into this world. My beautiful Lucy was born and after 3 years her Dad and I split.
I rared her on my own, it came easy to me and I loved every minute 💞

Fast forward 19 years and Chloé came into my life!
She was 4, her Dad had split up when she was only 8 months so I knew enough time had passed!

What I didn’t realize was the hardships that were to unfold. Wow! being a step-Mam is a tough job.

It’s a role that’s often undefined and sometimes misunderstood!
& here’s the thing a good step-Mam doesn’t replace, she adds.

I became a steady presence, not through biology, but through consistency, compassion, and care.
Offering love everyday without expectation, and support, without overstepping!

We all know the bond I have with Lucy T, unbreakable, built on a foundation of being there always with unconditional love. Today I can say that I have that bond with Miss Chloé, she is my little pal and we love each other dearly.

So if you are a step-parent out there, remember that patience and love prevail 💪🫶

We often think meditation means sitting perfectly still with a blank mind, no distractions, no thoughts.
But the truth is—it’s not about stopping your thoughts. It’s about noticing them gently, without judgement, and letting them pass like clouds in the sky.

At its core, meditation is a quiet returning.
A detox for the mind.
A de-stressing ritual for the body.
A gentle homecoming to yourself.

You don’t have to be calm to begin. You don’t have to do it “right.” You just have to show up—for a few quiet moments of presence.

While topical SPF remains your best defense against UV damage, certain nutrient-rich foods can offer internal support to help your skin stay strong, resilient, and radiant under the sun.

By combining mindful sun care with skin-loving foods, you’re giving your body an extra layer of support—because real wellness always starts from within.

I love this quote although I do believe this is not our only lifetime!
In the meantime I remind myself to not take things too seriously, to be present and that life is fleeting and precious.

This year I have been more intentional with everything, my relationships, my work, my health, my self-care, fun, travel, presence, balance. And I am loving every moment ❤️

Sometimes I feel so lucky and then I remjnd myself that I created this life I now live, I worked hard, I experienced hardships that I overcame, I take nothing for granted, I nurture all my relationships. I have faith and I am so grateful 🙏

So think about it. What will you do with this life you’ve been given?

For each of us it’s personal but it is a reminder to be intentional ❤️💚💛💗💙

Being over 50 is a gift, we are wise and in our prime! Just because we’re getting older doesn’t mean we’re slowing down. In fact, this chapter might just be our most powerful yet. 💫

Now is the perfect time to make health, joy, and vitality a forever part of our lifestyle.

Our future selves depend on it, and will be truly grateful not to mention happy 😃
