🚨 NEW AIRPORT REGULATION FOR ARRIVALS TO TENERIFE 🚨

From today, all passengers landing at Tenerife Airport will be required to pay the new Sunshine Arrival Tax — a small environmental contribution designed to “balance the island’s solar usage.”

According to the announcement, the tax will be calculated based on:

• How sunny it was when your plane landed

• How pale you look compared to your passport photo

• How loudly you say “Oh my god, it’s so warm!” when stepping off the plane

Passengers arriving during peak sunshine hours (11:00–16:00) will be charged a higher rate due to “premium UV conditions.”

Those arriving on cloudy days will receive a Sun Credit Voucher to use on their next visit.

Please note:

Removing jackets before entering the terminal may be considered “premature sun enjoyment” and could incur an additional fee.

Only applicable for arrivals today - 1st April ☀️

🚍 Exciting transport news for Tenerife 🇮🇨

The island is introducing 13 brand new double-deck buses as part of a big public transport upgrade. More seats, better views, and hopefully smoother travel during busy holiday periods.

If you’re staying around Golf del Sur or exploring the island without a car, this could make getting around much easier, especially during peak season.

Always nice to see Tenerife investing in improving the experience for both residents and visitors 🌴☀️

🐶 FOUND DOG – Golf del Sur / Bahia Area 🐾

Hi everyone,

We found this dog today in the Golf del Sur area near our massage spa . Does anyone know who it belongs to or who we can contact?

We gave it some food and water. It was extremely thirsty and drank about a liter, we tried to slow it down but it was very eager to drink.

The last time we saw it, it was walking toward the main doors of the Bahia Principe.

If you recognize this dog or know the owner, please contact us directly as soon as possible.

Let’s help this little one get home safely 🙏
