Facebook reminded me today of this post...3 years later, I have more confidence teaching my classes, less inner thinking, more enjoying...But I still agree and think that yoga teaches you a lot, to leave the ego on one side to meet who you are, accept who you are and be content with that. And of course there is still so much to learn...See you on the mat :) Namaste

"El yoga no se trata de mejorar o superarte. Va de aceptarse." Por eso amo el yoga y creo que todo el mundo necesita yoga, especialmente si haces deportes donde el reto es llegar más lejos, ser más rápido, más fuerte, mejor...Porque nos pasamos la vida intentando ser mejores...Y de repente, boom!, llega el yoga y te dice, no te preocupes, estás bien así, acéptate :) Y cuando consigues aceptarte, tu cuerpo empieza a estar mejor.

This is why I love yoga and think everybody needs yoga, specially athletes or other sport people whose disciplines are forcing them to be better, faster, stronger....We are always trying to be better at something...And suddenly comes yoga and..boom! You don't have to be, just you, and accept that. And we you accept that your body starts to be better not only in sports but in life. Relax, you are perfect like that :)
