Grassroots Yoga and Meditation It’s our aim to share with you the fundamental practices of Traditional Yoga that includes breathwork and meditation. Constant mind chatter. Poor sleep.

It is an integral system based on ancient yoga philosophy, incorporating modern day principals. When you’re constantly balancing the demands of a stressful career with a busy home life, it’s not uncommon to be experiencing overwhelm. And generally feeling disconnected. We teach you simple practices you can include in your daily life to build your resilience and still your mind. So you feel calm. Connected. Happy living a balanced life. Yoga as a practice beyond the yoga mat. It is a lifestyle that looks at the whole individual. From movement to diet, to sleep to mental wellbeing. There are practices that stretch and strengthen you physically. But importantly, still your mind and emotions. Classes are taught in English, Spanish or Catalan. ONLINE and in the province of Tarragona.

Happy Guru Poornima!

To hear or think of the word ‘Guru’ can evoke many different feelings. But Guru Poornima is a very special, auspicious day. For Ram and me, it signifies a day to acknowledge all the different teachers we have encountered in our lives. From our parents. Friends. And our spiritual teachers.

Anyone in life who has switched on a light within us. Of curiosity, of awareness, of inspiration.

Then there is the Guru Tattwa, the inner Guru. The light that shines from within. The one who silently guides us through life.

Awareness makes your world come alive.

Everyday experiences are transformed - colours are more vibrant, the sounds of the birds singing, the waves crashing into the shoreline are more noticeable.

This state of awareness connects you back to Self, the one beneath the social mask and the learned behaviours.

How do you honour your energy shifts?

One day, you wake up and you’re energised and ready to take on the world. The next? You wake up feeling out of sorts, and just want to pull the duvet over your head and shut out the world, and you have no idea why.

Life moves in cycles. Your energy shifts. The key isn’t to fight it. Developing self-awareness allows you to:

🙏 Notice how you’re feeling.
🙏 Ask yourself what you need.
🙏 and give yourself permission to adjust.

This is self-awareness, (mindfulness), noticing without judgment and responding with care. Some days, that might mean pushing yourself forward.

Other days, it means resting, honouring what you need. Both are valid.

For more mindful insights like this, I send out a little something each week, my thoughts on yoga, Ayurveda, meditation and mindfulness, plus simple ways to feel more balanced in daily life.

Between work and life admin, simplicity can feel miles away. 😊

But simplicity isn’t about doing less, it’s about focusing on what truly matters. Happiness comes when we let go of life’s unnecessary complexities and make space for what fills us up.

Slowing down so you can be present, rather than rushing through life ticking boxes. Loving generously, caring deeply, and speaking kindly both to yourself and others.

Here are a few things to think about this week:

💛 Try to take a pause and a deep, conscious breath before reacting.

💛 Speak kindly to yourself. Show yourself the same compassion you give to others.

💛 Take 10 minutes just for you, a quiet cuppa, a walk, or simply sitting quietly.

When we offer love, empathy, and understanding without judgment, to others and ourselves, life feels a little lighter. 💛

✨You know that thing you’ve been putting off? The one that makes your heart race just thinking about it?

It’s funny how we often tuck away our dreams, isn’t it? Fear or self-doubt creeps in, and suddenly we’re holding back.

I’ve been guilty of this too. 🙄 It took me ages to start writing a weekly newsletter. I kept thinking, “Who’ll want to read what I have to say?” or “What if it fails?” But once I took that first step, the feedback I’ve received so far was so rewarding.

So, how about taking one small step today? Just a little nudge toward your dream, it could be all it takes to get started.

I’ve decided I’m not holding back anymore. How about you?
