When I decided to create my children’s book about vitiligo, I wanted it to be a little different from all the beautiful ones already on the market.

So I decided to choose a different angle.
I built the heart of the book trying to answer the forever questions children ask “but why”.

Mila’s magical journey inside the skin tries to answer what may be happening in the body when vitiligo develops.

Providing a cute tool for parents who’d like to talk about vitiligo openly, in a simple and kid-friendly way.
