These are a nice set combining the stillness of static postures with some specific Qi Gong movements combined with each element/ organ. Torben Bremann focuses on the principles, rather than just the phenomena of the energetics, or Qi. If the focus is on “making money” and only cultivating Qi, the quality of service or application usually declines. Oriental medicine or martial arts should not be viewed as a commodity that only a few benefit from the elusive acquisition of mysterious Qi. Rather it is a medium for development or change that everyone can benefit from.

When you approach something from the principles, it is much more difficult to do and one of the reasons is that the practitioner MUST change and “lose something”( such as bad postural habits, frame of mind etc ) in return for the benefit of good energy. This usually takes time. You are quite wrong if you think you will get some good energy by doing a few simple” Qi” movements by hanging out with a Zen internet guru. Of course, stuff may be felt, but it often isn't repeatable. Someone will probably make a style from it and call it a full set of Qi gong, Acupuncture or Moxa treatments that do this or that and then sell you the course.

Be careful and develop a mentality to make good enquiries and acquire excellent skills.
