The war in Ukraine is creating a terrible humanitarian crisis. Innocent people have been killed, injured, lost their homes and possessions, split up from their families and forced to flee their beautiful country.
We need to stand up and Step Up!
The Calizumos Community wants to come together to support our Ukrainian members and all those suffering during this horrible moment.
On Saturday 19 of March, we will be holding a special fundraising B***y Blast. This event is free and open to all to come and support. The training will take place at the steps of Plaza Espana at 10:00! 🍑
We ask that all members and those taking part make a donation that will go directly to the Red Cross and help support the crisis in Ukraine. The Red Cross is working on the ground in Ukraine to help those affected by the war and also is active in neighbouring countries to aid those fleeing to safety. Every donation will help. Funds will be transferred directly to the Red Cross through this donation - Calizumos does not receive and of the funds - we will cover any transaction fees to ensure your total donation goes to the fund!
If you cannot attend the event, you can still send support or sponsor a Calizumos member on the day (if you do so, please leave the name of the person you are sponsoring in the space for comments)
We will have some challenges to generate more funds and really make a difference on the day.
How your donation makes a difference:
€30 could provide essential hygiene supplies for three people for one month
€50 could provide blankets for four families
€100 could provide emergency food for two families for one month
