Sometimes in life we find ourselves in that strange middle space:
• Not moving forward, not going anywhere.
• Not standing still, not truly settled either.
• Just stuck in between.

Sanskrit describes this beautifully in just four words:

न ययुः न तस्थुः
(na yayuḥ na tasthuḥ)
“They neither went, nor stood.”

It’s that moment when…
• You scroll endlessly on your phone, doing nothing, yet unable to put it down.
• You’re in a job you don’t love, but you don’t quit either.
• You want to say something, but the words freeze halfway.

This phrase reminds us: staying in between for too long drains energy. Either take the step forward, or choose to be still with awareness. But don’t linger in the “neither here nor there.”

Funny thing about yoga, it doesn’t really change life on the outside. Bills are still there, traffic still honks, the to-do list still grows. But it changes the way you meet all of it. Suddenly the noise isn’t so loud, the body feels lighter, and the mind becomes an ally instead of a battlefield.
That’s what this journey has been for me, and what I wish for anyone who joins. Not just stronger muscles or better balance, but a softer way of living. If that resonates, you’re welcome in our circle.

There’s a beautiful posture in yoga called Mandukasana, the frog pose. The old yogic texts say that just like a frog sits still and steady, this posture helps us settle deeply while also sparking the fire in our belly. They tell us it awakens the energy at the navel, the very center of our vitality, so we feel lighter, stronger, and more alive.

Existe una postura muy especial en el yoga llamada Mandukasana, la postura de la rana. Los antiguos textos yóguicos cuentan que, así como la rana se sienta quieta y firme, esta postura nos ayuda a enraizarnos profundamente y al mismo tiempo encender el fuego en nuestro abdomen. También dicen que despierta la energía en el ombligo, el centro de nuestra vitalidad, haciéndonos sentir más ligeros, fuertes y llenos de vida.

Our community class is a way of giving back – a donation-based experience where there’s no fixed fee. You simply contribute whatever feels right, valuing the time and energy of the instructors and helping the community grow.

After class, we all head to a nearby café for brunch, where you can order what you like, connect, and network – creating a more inclusive and integrated space for everyone. 💛



Nuestra clase comunitaria es una manera de retribuir: una experiencia basada en donaciones en la que no hay una tarifa fija. Simplemente contribuyes con lo que sientas adecuado, valorando el tiempo y la energía de los instructores y ayudando a que la comunidad crezca.

Después de la clase, todos vamos a un café cercano para el brunch, donde puedes pedir lo que quieras, conectar y crear redes, generando un espacio más inclusivo e integrado para todos. 💛

Last week’s Philosophy session at .anahatayoga was nothing short of magical ✨
We journeyed through Darsana (the vision)
Flowed into Sati (clarity)
Danced with Entropy (the beautiful chaos of the conditioned mind & body)
And arrived at Singularity, the graceful union of body & mind.

Only with vision, clarity, and an honest look at our inner & outer conditioning…
can we align, unify, and truly be at peace with ourselves.
