We grow up learning to hold ourselves together…
to stay strong, keep going, and hide the moments when we’re overwhelmed. 😔

But our nervous system needs more than that —
it needs spaces where it can soften, unwind, and feel safe again. 🌿

Sometimes we can offer that to ourselves:
✨ walking barefoot in nature
✨ gentle movement
✨ conscious breathing
✨ stillness

And sometimes we need someone else to hold space with us —
to witness us, to support the settling that we can’t do alone. 🤍

How aware are you of your body right now?
Try this simple check-in:

Take a slow inhale and gently lengthen your spine.
As you exhale, let your shoulders soften and your whole body relax.
Notice where there is tightness, discomfort, or strain.
Repeat a few times until you feel a little taller, a little softer, and more present in your body.

• In Hatha, we work with your breath and alignment, helping your body find clarity and ease.
• In Yin, you settle deeper into relaxation, explore your own shape, and allow your muscles and nervous system to release tension.

💛 Your body knows how to relax — it just needs the chance to feel safe.
When you slow down, breathe softly, and allow yourself to rest, your nervous system begins to settle and restore balance.

🪶 Try this simple Yin pose:
Reclined Butterfly (Supta Baddha Konasana)

Lie on your back.

Bring the soles of your feet together and let your knees fall open.

Place pillows or blocks under your thighs for full support — there should be no strain.

Rest your hands on your belly or beside your body.

Stay for 1–2 minutes, breathing gently.

Once it feels comfortable, you can slowly extend the time.

This pose helps your body release tension, opens your heart area, and signals safety to your nervous system.

🤍 Remember: you don’t need to do anything — simply allow yourself to be.

I know what it’s like to live with a herniated cervical disk—headaches, stiff neck, tense shoulders, and fear that I wouldn’t be able to teach yoga again. After many sessions of Osteopathy, Yoga therapy & holistic work, I finally discovered what truly helped me move freely again.
