Between the hills and vast fields on the Costa de la Luz lies a true miracle: 'Milagro de Algar'. A beautiful home on the countryside of Cádiz Andalusía, where you can relax and enjoy the sun, peace, nature and the traditional Southern Spanish life. After 10 years of running a Health Center for Complementary Medicine in the Netherlands (Sarvata), loving owners Bas Blij and Rebekka Noest decided to start a Retreat Center for Yoga, Therapy and Spiritual Vacations in this beautiful untouched rural area. With heartcentered dedication and attention to detail they truly live consciously and invite you to be part of their awakening journey. Besides renting this amazing holiday destination with up to 16 people or even more, Milagro de Algar organizes Yoga Vacations, Spiritual Retreats and Therapeutic Intensives. During the retreats there is a changing program, consisting of daily yoga classes, meditation and massages. The program will, depending on the theme of the retreat week, be supplemented with program components such as mindfulness, meditation, coaching, (hapto)therapy, tantra, (female) empowerment, detox and healthy nutrition. Milagro de Algar is always looking to expand their horizons by connecting with others and combining forces. The Release & Rise retreat includes besides the group - and individual sessions also free time in which you can unwind and recharge in various ways.

Here are some activities you can enjoy at Milagro de Algar during the scheduled free time (usually between 12:00 and 16:30):

- Take some time to reflect on your experiences and insights by journaling 📝
- Take a refreshing dip in the saltwater pool
- Enjoy chilling out on the sunbeds next to the pool 😎
- Lounge on the big comfy green couch in the beautifully decorated sunroom🪻
- Sunbathe on the rooftop terrace and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views 🌞
- Relax in the hammock under the shady trees in the lush green windy garden 🌳
- Play board games with fellow participants♟️
- Stroll in the Healing Garden with one or more of the 6 lovely cats and pick fresh herbs like thyme and rosemary 🌿🐈

Milagro de Algar is situated in a vast rural area, surrounded by farmlands and mountains. If you feel like going for a stroll or a power walk in the surrounding areas make sure to put on your walking shoes and venture out to:

- Explore the nature including the nearby hills and mountains🏔️
- Spot the coast of Africa and the Atlantic Ocean on a clear day
- Enjoy magnificent views over the far stretching farmlands, hills and mountains 🌄
- During your walk you could even spot some local wildlife, including rabbits, pheasants, Imperial Eagles and sometimes even deer!🐇🦌

There is much more to discover in the beautiful area where Milagro de Algar is located by car.
It is recommended that you come with your own car or rent one at the airport. 🚗
You can visit nearby villages where you can go to the supermarket, restaurants or take some time for shopping. Some of the closest villages you can visit are Vejer de la Frontera, Medina Sidonia and Los Caños de Meca. Enjoy the unique charm and culture of each village! 🌺📸

Beach day 🏖️
Drive to the nearby coast Costa de la Luz and visit beaches like Playa de las Cortinas and Playa El Palmar where you can relax on the fine golden sand, take a swim, or if you’re into watersports, have fun windsurfing or kitesurfing. 🏄

Let’s take a closer look at the culinary experience awaiting you during the Release & Rise retreat 😊:

We prioritize nourishing your body and soul with carefully prepared delicious and healthy vegan and vegetarian meals predominantly from the Mediterranean and Indian cuisine. 🥘🫒

Here's an overview of what you can expect:

Welcome Dinner: 20:00 on the first day. During the welcome dinner we celebrate together the beginning of a beautiful and transformative retreat by sharing dinner, feasting on the abundance of freshly prepared delicious dishes. 🍲💞

Morning Refreshments: 07:30, before attending the daily morning session you can start your day with fresh filtered water, a cup of coffee, tea and fresh fruit that will be available in the kitchen. ☕🍇🍏

Breakfast: 10:00, choose from a variety of items to make your own breakfast (e.g. cereals, bread, fruit juices, tea, coffee), we eat together in the main dining room 🍞🍵

Lunch: 12:00, enjoy a freshly prepared smoothie created by Bas, one of your hosts at Milagro de Algar. There is also the option to explore restaurants in the nearby villages or prepare your own lunch in the kitchen.

Dinner: the last meal of the day will be served and shared together at 19:30 on the terrace outside. Enjoy a variety of carefully prepared tasteful dishes. 🥗🍛

Snacks and Beverages
- Fresh filtered water, coffee and tea available throughout the day
- A basket of fresh fruits and snacks like mixed nuts and crackers 🍊🥝

Kitchen Facilities
- Two refrigerators for storing personal groceries
- Gas stove and oven
- Plates, cups, drinking glasses, cutlery, pots, pans and other kitchen utensils are available for use 🍽️🥣
- There is a variety of basic condiments like salt, pepper, butter and olive oil you can use to cook with already available in the kitchen 🧂🧈

Notes
- This is a non-alcohol retreat, except during designated barbecues, wine and beer are optional then.
- We can take allergies and diets into account to a certain extent, please inquire in advance about the possibilities.
- You are welcome to explore local supermarkets for additional groceries and prepare your own meals in the kitchen.

🌿 Booking your retreat, you will have a variety of accommodations to choose from. Whether you like a bit of luxury or go back to basics surrounded by nature, we have something for everyone!

Attending with friends or family up to 4 people, you may like to book one of the shared rooms in the main house or share the Moroccan tent. 💫

As a duo or alone, you may like to book the Pyramid or Tipi. Feeling adventurous? Share accommodation with fellow participants and you júst might meet new friends for life! Roadtripping? There is also the possibility to park your camper at Milagro de Algar or put up your own tent in our Healing Garden. Need advice or information about the shared rooms leading up to the retreat, please do contact us.
