Strengthening Knowledge Through Collaboration: CME on Ovarian Cancer at St. Paul
At St. Paul’s, medical knowledge is not just shared—it is built together. This week’s Continuing Medical Education (CME) session was a testament to that spirit, bringing together oncologists and gynecology experts for a critical discussion on ovarian cancer management.
The session featured two insightful presentations:
Management of Ovarian Cancer – delivered by Dr. Meseret, Gynecology Oncologist at St. Paul.
Adjuvant Chemotherapy and Targeted Therapy in Ovarian Cancer – presented by Dr. Munir Awol, Medical Oncologist from Hope Oncology.
Moderated by Dr. Malede, the discussion encouraged an engaging exchange of expertise between Hope Oncology’s specialists and the St. Paul Ob/Gyn Department. The collaboration highlighted the importance of multidisciplinary perspectives in advancing patient care and improving outcomes for women facing ovarian cancer.
Events like this reinforce the value of partnership between institutions—uniting clinical knowledge, research insights, and practical experience to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
A big thank you to all the speakers, moderators, and participants for making this CME session a success. Together, we are building stronger bridges between specialties and creating pathways to better healthcare.
