🧪✨ Yekatit 12 Hospital Medical College Successfully Conducts SLIPTA Assessment ✨🧪

🧫📊 Yekatit 12 Hospital Medical College has successfully conducted its SLIPTA assessment using the SLIPTA Checklist Version 3:2023, aligned with ISO 15189:2022. This important assessment represents the institution’s first evaluation following the transition from ISO 15189:2012 to the updated 2022 international standard.

🛡️👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️ The assessment reviewed how effectively the laboratory has adopted the new requirements, with strong focus on risk based thinking, patient safety, leadership responsibility, staff competence, and continual improvement. The assessment highlighted key strengths, including strong staff commitment, improved documentation, and enhanced control of laboratory processes.

🔍📝 Areas for improvement were also identified, particularly in nonconforming work management, corrective action processes, risk management practices, continual improvement mechanisms, and oversight of reagents and equipment. These findings provide a clear direction for strengthening the laboratory quality management system.

📅🏥 On Friday, a related SLIPTA assessment activity was conducted at Abebech Gobena Maternal and Child Health Center. Building on this, the SLIPTA assessment for Yekatit 12 Hospital Medical College was formally conducted today by a professional assessment team from the Addis Ababa Health Bureau. The opening session was officially led by the Hospital Provost, Dr Anteneh Miteku.

የዛሬው ወርቃማው ሰኞ በየካቲት 12 ሆስፒታል ሜዲካል ኮሌጅ የአስተዳደርና የልማት ምክትል ፕሮቮስት አቶ አለሙ ክብረት፣ የአካዳሚና ምርምር ምክትል ፕሮቮስት ዶክተር መረርቱ ተምስገን እና የአበበች ጎበና የእናቶችና ህጻናት ዳይሬክተር የሆኑት በዶክተር ዱረቲ ጀማል እና የሆስፒታሉ ሰራተኞች ተገኝተዋል።

✨ የእለቱም የወርቃማው ሰኞ የተከፈተው በየካቲት 12 ሆስፒታል ሜዲካል ኮሌጅ የአበበች ጎበና የእናቶችና ህጻናት ዳይሬክተር በሆኑት በዶክተር ዱረቲ ጀማል ነው።

💬ዶክተር ዱረቲ በመክፈቻ ንግግራቸው "ሀገራችን ከሌላው ዐለም ስትወዳደር ወደ ኋላ ቀርታለች ስለሆነም ወደፊት ለመምጣት በሁሉም ነገር የተሻለ ነገር እንዲኖረን ጠንክረን መስራትና የስራ ባህላችንን ማዳበር ይኖርብናል" ሲሉ ገልጸዋል።

🌟 በመቀጠልም የእለቱ የክብር እንግዳ በኮሚኒኬሽን ክፍል አስተባባሪ በቤንኦን ጌታቸው ትንሽ ታሪካቸው ተነግሮ ተጠርተዋል።

ትውልድና እድገታቸው በወቅቱ አጠራር በሐረርጌ ክፍለ ሀገር ነው። ከ4ኛ ክፍል ጀምሮ እስከ 6ኛ ክፍል አበባ የተማሩ ሲሆን አባታቸው በሶማሊያ ወረራ ጊዜ ሕይውቱን ስላጣ ለሀገር ባለውለታ ልጆች ተብሎ ከስድስተኛ እስከ ኮሌጅ ለሀገር ባለውለታ ልጆች የተባለው ሕጻናት አምባ 1971 ተጀምሮ 1973 ዓ.ም አስኪያልቅ ድረስ የወታደሩ ልጆች ኩባ ሄደው እንዲማሩ ተደረገ።

🚢🌍 ከአዲስ አበባ እስከ አሰብ ቀይ ባህር ለመድረስ ሦስት ቀን ተጉዘው 1200 የወታደር ልጆች “አፍሪካ ኩባ” በተባለች መርከብ ተሳፍረው ኩባ ደረሱ።

🎉 Yekatit 12 Hospital Medical College proudly announces a major advancement in surgical capacity through the strategic collaboration with the Partners in African Cleft Training (PACT) program.

👏 This milestone was made possible by Professor Mekonin Esh*te, one of Ethiopia’s first plastic and reconstructive surgeons, who facilitated the PACT multidisciplinary team including nutrition specialists, speech therapists, pediatricians, and plastic surgeons to work directly with hospital staff, providing comprehensive, high quality patient care. 🤝👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

🛠️ As part of this collaboration, the hospital received state of the art Stryker surgical drills and power equipment, valued at approximately 3 million Birr 💰.

✂️💉 🛠️These advanced tools will significantly enhance craniofacial and reconstructive surgical capabilities, enabling safer, high-precision procedures for complex cases. ✂️💉

🟡 የዛሬው ወርቃማው ሰኞ የእውቀት ሽግግር የተቋሙ ሰራተኞች በተገኙበት በየካቲት 12 ሆስፒታል ሜዲካል ኮሌጅ አበበች ጎበና እናቶችና ህፃናት ህክምና ማዕከል ተከናወነ።

🏥🎓 የእለቱን ዝግጅት የከፈቱት የየካቲት 12 ሆስፒታል ሜዲካል ኮሌጅ የአስተዳደርና ልማት ም/ ኘሮቮስት አቶ አለሙ ክብረት ናቸው።

🙏🎉 አቶ አለሙ ክብረት ታዳሚውን እንኳን ደህና መጣችሁ ካሉ በኋላ የወርቃማው ሰኞ መስፋትና እንዲህ በደማቁ መደረጉን አድንቀው በቀጣይም የወርቃማ ሰኞ የዕውቀት ሽግግር በተጠናከረ መልኩ ይቀጥላል ብለዋል

⭐🎖️ የዛሬው የወርቃማው ሰኞ የክብር እንግዳ ዶ/ር ፍቃደ አየናቸው ሲሆኑ በየካቲት 12 ሆስፒታል ሜዲካል ኮሌጅ አበበች ጎበና እናቶችና ህፃናት ህክምና ማዕከል እንዲሁም በተለያዩ ተቋማት ለ26 ዓመታት አገልግለዋል።

🏙️📚 ዶ/ር ፍቃደ አየናቸው ትውልድና እድገታቸው በአዲስ አበበ ሲሆን የመጀመሪያና ሁለተኛ ደረጃ ትምህርታቸውን በዛው በተወለዱበት አከባቢ አጠናቀዋል ከፍተኛ ትምህርታቸውን ደግሞ በጎንደር ዩንቨርስቲ የስፔሻሊቲ ትምህርታቸውን በአዲስ አበባ ዩንቨርስቲ የሰብስፔሻሊስት ትምህርታቸውን ደግሞ በሃምሊን ፌስቱላ ሆስፒታል እና በመቀሌ ዩንቨርስቲ አጠናቀዋል።

🏥💛✨ዶ/ር ፍቃደ አየናቸው በተለያዩ የሃገራችን ክፍል እና በካቲት 12 ሆስፒታል ሜዲካል ኮሌጅ አበበች ጎበና እናቶችና ህፃናት ህክምና ማዕከል በተለያዩ የህክምና ክፍሎች በሃላፊነት እና በህክምና ያገለገሉ ሲሆን በአሁን ሰዓት በአበበች ጎበና እናቶችና ህፃናት ህክምና ማዕከል በቅንነት ሃገራቸውን እያገለገሉ ይገኛሉ።
