🏥 የካቲት 12 ሆስፒታል ሜዲካል ኮሌጅ ማኅበረሰቡን ለማገልገል በሁሉም የህክምና ዘርፍ እየሰራ ይገኛል።

👨‍⚕️ ከዚህ ውስጥም በተለያየ ምክንያት የንግግር ክህሎታቸውን ላጡ የልጆችም ሆነ የአዋቂዎችን ንግግር ለማሻሻል ብቁ ባለሙያዎችን አሰማርቶ እየሰራ ይገኛል።

👶 በይበልጥም ህጻናት ከውልደታቸው አንስቶ የንግግር ክህሎት ችግር ለገጠማቸው የንግግር ክህሎት ማዳበሪያ እና ሥነ ልሳን (Speech Therapy) ክፍል አቋቁሙ በሙያቸው ሁለተኛ ዲግሪና ልምዳ ያላቸውን ሰዎች አሰማርቶ ብዙዎችን እያገለገል ይገኛል።

📌 Research Topic: Hospital Acquired Infections in Children Under Five

👨‍⚕️ Conducted by: Public Health researchers from Addis Ababa University in collaboration with Yekatit 12 Hospital Medical College.

🔬 Methodology:
The researchers conducted a hospital based cross sectional study in the pediatric wards. Children under five who were admitted for treatment were included in the study. Medical records were reviewed and laboratory samples were collected to identify infections that developed after hospital admission.

Yekati 12 hospital medical college & "Jhpiego" aprovided a training on Microbiological Specimen Collection and Sample Management for health professionals

🤝 The training was conducted in collaboration with Jhpiego and was reported to be very successful and effective.

📅 The three-day training program allowed staff of the institution to strengthen their knowledge and gain valuable practical experience. Participants stated that the training helped them improve their professional skills and learn new practices.
