🎉 Honoring a True Healthcare Hero – Dr. Desta Belete Beshah 🎉
BMY diagnostics center is proud to celebrate the remarkable journey and lifelong dedication of Dr. Desta Belete Beshah, a respected physician, surgeon, and educator whose service has touched countless lives.
Dr. Desta began his medical journey in Cuba, completing both high school and medical school before returning to Ethiopia in 1983 E.C. Over the decades, he has served communities across the country, first as a General Practitioner in South Gonder (1984–1990 E.C.), then as a General Surgeon at Ras Desta Damtew Memorial Hospital, where he has worked for the past 27 years, including 16 years as a surgeon.
He holds a Master’s degree from Addis Ababa University and completed laparoscopic surgical training in South Korea in 2004 E.C., continually expanding his knowledge to better serve his patients.
Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Desta is a devoted husband of 29 years and a proud father of two.
