Change is possible! We could reduce Debre Berhan Hospital's neonatal Death from 36% to 11.3%!
What matters is teamwork & devotion!! In fact it was so easy to reduce mortality below 10% if we were lucky enough to get responsible senior physicians and dynamic hospital management team! Am always impressed by the nurses' effort! "sending 11sweet kids to morgue for every 100" is still painful and shocking for me! I wonder how those people who took responsibility are comfortable!? Am not referring the hard working, less paid and powerless nurses.
