=== English Translation===
👉 Very often, people, by trusting others, rely on them: and they are disappointed in their hope and trust. When the person they hoped in fools them, they lose hope and become discouraged; they become unable to continue and pursue their path and destiny.
👉 However, what they do not understand is that human nature lacks consistency. The nature of mankind is changeable. Sometimes they become closer to you as your friends or relatives and sometimes they become an enemy to you and hate you. Therefore, human nature is not consistent in its actions.
👉 The human heart has much that cannot be understood. This what most people, often fail to understand and get hurt by the ways of people.
📖 Proverbs 18:24 (NKJV): "A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother."
👉 The faithful love is only the love of God, who does not change. If God were changeable, we would be lost. But with God, there is no variation nor shadow of changing.
📖 Malachi 3:6 (NKJV): "For I am the Lord, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob."
👉 The variation in behavior is the nature of humankind, not the nature of God.
📖 James 1:17 (NKJV): "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning."
👉 So today I will be discussing the subject entitled, 'BEWARE OF PEOPLE!'
📖 John 2:24-25 (NKJV): "But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men, and had no need that anyone should testify of man, for He knew what was in man."
✝️ Jesus, because He knew the heart of every person thoroughly, knew precisely who truly believed in Him and who merely imitated belief in Him. So, He did not entrust Himself to them.
✝️ Even to His disciples, He said, "Beware of people!" Indeed, the one who plots evil to betray a person is not an animal, but a person.
📖 Matthew 10:17 (NKJV): "But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to councils and scourge you in their synagogues."
✝️ Jesus, knowing who would later betray Him and hand Him over, guarded Himself and lived even with Judas.
📖 John 6:64 (NKJV): "‘But there are some of you who do not believe.’ For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe and who would betray Him."
👉 He who truly believes will not betray you. However, the Lord knows that those like Judas, who are around Him for personal gain, are there to sell Him out later.
❓ Therefore, how should we live among people today?
✝️ Jesus said, "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves." (Matthew 10:16)
🦊 He said that these wolves are not wild animals but the sons of men.
[🦊] There are people who have the nature of wolves and the nature of dogs; they are those who devour people. Therefore, when we live among people, we must be wise as serpents and gentle as doves. (Matthew 10:16)
👉 This 'wisdom' he speaks of is not plotting evil against people, but rather shrewdness. Living with people requires shrewdness; living with God requires gentleness.
👉 Some people want to live with God using the shrewdness they use to live with people. Wow, this cannot be! Jesus said, "I am gentle and lowly in heart." (Matthew 11:29)
👉 The Bible tells us to "love people" but does not tell us to "trust people."
👉 Loving people is our obligation; trusting people, however, is not our obligation.
👉 Leaning on people has serious drawbacks. Therefore, we must be careful in the pattern of our lives.
👉 The Bible says, "Put no trust in a neighbor; have no confidence in a close friend; guard the doors of your mouth from her who lies in your arms."
📖 Micah 7:5 (NKJV): "Do not trust in a friend; do not put your confidence in a companion; guard the doors of your mouth from her who lies in your bosom."
👉 When we trust people and rely on them, we face two problems in our lives. These are:
❶ We may grow weary internally when the person we trusted and relied on changes their trust in us or disappoints us.
👉 Because of this, we may lose strength and motivation to work and to move forward in anything.
👉 When what we expected to gain from that person fails, we become disappointed internally. That is why the word of God says, "Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the Lord."
📖 Jeremiah 17:5-6 (NKJV): "Thus says the Lord: 'Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the Lord. For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see when good comes, but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land which is not inhabited.'"
❷. Your secret will be exposed.
👉 If we tell all our secrets to a person we trust and rely on, later that very thing can become a weapon against us, and they may attack us. The reason is that when a person trusts someone, they speak to them without hiding any secrets of their heart. But later, that very secret can become a weapon against them and destroy them.
👉 Samson, trusting Delilah, told her all the secrets of his strength when she asked, and she captured that final secret and turned it into a weapon against him. Through this, the secret of his strength was discovered, and the hero who had vanquished many foes yesterday was brought down, grinding in prison.
👉 Judges 16:15-18 (NKJV): "Then she said to him, 'How can you say, "I love you," when your heart is not with me? You have mocked me these three times and have not told me where your great strength lies.'... And it came to pass, when she pestered him daily with her words and pressed him, so that his soul was vexed to death, that he told her all his heart... When Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called for the lords of the Philistines."
👉 When the lords of the Philistines heard that Samson loved Delilah, they came to her and said, "Entice him, and find out where his great strength lies, and by what means we may overpower him... Then we will each give you eleven hundred pieces of silver."
👉 So she pressured him daily to tell the secret, and he wearied her with his evasions, saying things like, "If they bind me with seven fresh bowstrings... I shall become weak" (Judges 16:7) or "If you weave the seven locks of my head into the web of the loom..." (Judges 16:13). She did as he said, but it did not work. Finally, he told her all his heart and fell into the hands of his enemies.
👉 When King Hezekiah was sick and recovered, the king of Babylon heard about it and sent envoys. Hezekiah was pleased with them and showed them all his treasure house—the silver, the gold, the spices, the precious oil, his entire armory—all that was found in his storehouses. There was nothing in his house or in all his dominion that Hezekiah did not show them.
👉 Then Isaiah the prophet came to King Hezekiah and said to him, "What did these men say, and from where did they come to you?" So Hezekiah said, "They came from a far country, from Babylon." And he said, "What have they seen in your house?" So Hezekiah answered, "They have seen all that is in my house; there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them."
👉Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, "Hear the word of the Lord: 'Behold, the days are coming when all that is in your house, and what your fathers have accumulated until this day, shall be carried to Babylon; nothing shall be left,' says the Lord." (2 Kings 20:12-17 / Isaiah 39)
