Annual highlight!

White waterlilies are flowering and ready to be foraged, by swimming — of course, for it's ultimate crunchy txture, deeee-licious taste and symbolic value.

Waterlilies contain aporphine. It is very likely that it can be converted to the closely related apomorphine – and this can also happen as part of the body's metabolism.

Many people have reported experiencing a floating and euphoric feeling from consuming waterlily.

Bulrush is surpringsingly late to flower this year — meaning that it can still be somewhere (prior flowering) to be foraged at their peak – like these beauties just today.

Peel outer layer(s) and trim all dark green bits off – for the horseradishy, licorice and cucumber like wild vegetable crudités.

Easily worth the (fairly laborious) prep effort and such noble wild edible plant and one of a kind!ä indeed.

Chickweed and it's adorable and loveable white flowers at annual peak stage.

Use chickweed in same manner as u'd use peashoots, mange tout and sugar snaps.

Use the whole plant – ideally raw though for it's fragile txture. Chickweed creates ideal 'base' (50% of total) for forager's wild herb salad.

Contains Aloe vera kinda qualities also, in this wild edible plant.

Such hot weather has done it's job – these are already sun dried as they are.

Beautiful, versatile and easy to use all year round wild flower garnish on literally all savoury food.

Extremely potent sleep aid remedy.

I sometimes sprinkle it on top of sweet 'n sour fish stew – just make sure u have the rest of the day/eve free and no driving, please.

Horseradishy and wasabi like punch.

Use as You'd use aforementioned in all salads, with grilled fish and meat.

Elderflower season in da peak, NOW.

This fragrant showstopper needs no introduction.

Use as deep fried fritters (something magical happens when this flower gets battered and fried) and serve with vanilla ice cream and/or with fresh strawerries.

If you turn these flowers into cordial, make a old school jelly out of it and replace half with to elevate it's aromas and character. Serve with Jersey cream and enjoy the foodgasm (throw into jelly few raspberries too, if you have).

Alternatively Infuse elderflowers into white wine vinegar for all year use, to make a salad dressing that is a knock out, or turn these beauties into fizzy drinks like kombucha or ginger beer.

If you need to save it for later use, best to vacuum bag and freeze it – to capture that beautiful aroma it carries as if dried, u'll lose most of it.

Jacob's ladder is a total stunner.

For me it is hard to share about this plant in digital platform as my experiences with this medicinal plant reaches so far out. I hope to meet u one day to discuss it's effects.
