Asetuimme naisten puolelle, väkivaltaa vastaan ja osallistuimme Naisten Linjan kampanjaan väkivaltaa kokevien naisten ja tyttöjen hyväksi.

Naisiin kohdistuva väkivalta on yksi maamme suurimmista ihmisoikeusongelmista. Joka kolmas nainen Suomessa on kokenut väkivaltaa parisuhteessa ja vuosittain 15 naista surmataan nykyisen tai entisen kumppanin toimesta. Mahdollisimman aikaisin saatu tuki on väkivaltaa kokeville kirjaimellisesti elintärkeää.

Naistenpäivänä järjestetyn kampanjan tavoitteena oli tehdä tämä ilmiö näkyväksi ja samalla kerätä varoja Naisten Linjan työhön väkivaltaa kokevien hyväksi.

Kampanja onnistui hienosti. Kymmenet suomalaiset yritykset ja valtava joukko yksityishenkilöitä lähti mukaan auttamaan. Kampanjan aikana kerättiin 50 000 euron lahjoituspotti, jonka avulla Naisten Linja pystyy auttamaan satoja väkivaltaa kokeneita.

Vuoden 2023 Lääkebarometrin* mukaan, yli kolmanneksella pitkäaikaissairaista jää lääke välillä ottamatta. Yleisimmät käytetyt apukeinot lääkkeenoton muistamisessa olivat lääkkeenoton yhdistäminen johonkin rutiiniin (46 %), lääkkeen pitäminen esillä tai tietyssä paikassa (38 %) sekä dosetti tai muu annostelija (27 %).

✨ FAQ - Does Popit Sense work with different medications?✨

Yes! The same device works with various pill brands – but they need to come in blisters.

You just need to make sure your pill sheet has about 6-9 mm (or 1/4 – 3/8″) of free space anywhere on the edges to attach Popit Sense. Most rectangular and round sheets have this.

Some brands have a hole in the middle, which can also be used for attachment so that Popit Sense will actually be in the middle of the sheet.

✨ FAQ - How about wallet-type packages with cardboard? ✨

Some pill brands, like Yaz, YazFlex or Qlaira may come in a cardboard “wallet”. These cardboard-encased medications are currently NOT supported by Popit, as they can prevent one of the sensors from working properly and you will not be able to use the automatic detection feature.

Manual registration (short press on the Side Button) does work as per normal.
