Confusion and indecisiveness arises when you think of yourself as a singularity rather than a singularity consisting of a multiplicity of singularities.
In other words, many different selves that act as one self.
Your psyche consists of many different selves the same way your body consist of many different organs and tissues and so on that work together as one body.
Every psychological part of you can’t have all of their wants and needs met in every single moment, but they can all be heard, validated and respected for their role in the wholeness of you.
To be able to lead yourself you need to listen to every part and take into consideration their role in your decision making process.
When you experience confusion do this…
Take out pen and paper, slip into spacious listening mode.
Ask each voice inside of you what it is that they want and why they want that - write it down.
Get curious and ask them questions.
Take note of the somatic experience of each of these parts/voices - notice the felt sense of them.
This process is not choose one over the other, it is a way of learning about yourself and the energies that make up this ’You’, and to gather information of what is present and activated within you.
When you’ve gone through the process, take a break and return to it later.
You will notice that things begin to shift when you listen and honor all the different voices of you.
