👷♀️Safety first in By the Sea👷♂️
This January, all groups in our daycare have been diving into the theme safety and the children have taken on the important role of safety inspectors! 🦺 Each group, based on their age, explored different ways to ensure our daycare is a safe and secure place for everyone.
• The youngest ones focused on their own environment by checking for intact toys, making sure they were in the right places, and confirming that doors were functional and accessible. ⛑️
• Some groups looked at fire safety signs, confirmed we have a hand-held fire extinguisher and fire blanket, checked our first aid kits, and inspected the yard for broken toys and made sure gates were closed 🧯
•The oldest children even interviewed adults to ensure they had read our safety plans! They also got hands-on experience practicing safety during trips to the park. 🌳
These activities not only make our daycare safer but also help the children understand their environment, develop responsibility, and learn how to take care of one another. A big thank vou to our little safety experts for their hard work! 💛👷♂️👷♀️
