We were delighted to welcome our colleague Alexander Mainka from Charité, Berlin over the past few days. During his visit, he observed both our outpatient procedures and surgeries, including and thyroarytenoid . The latter is a treatment we offer for patients with adductor spasmodic dysphonia, while glottoplasty is primarily performed for .

Fun fact: glottoplasty began in HUS Helsingin yliopistollinen sairaala Finland in 1994, making it the second country in the world to offer the procedure, following Germany!
